and we only have 13 days left until we leave for our trip

I don't know how it is for your families but, when illness hits ours its like a domino affect. I got the cold first and I'm going on my 5th day of it, two days after I came down with it DS starts sneezing and suffy nose, he seems to be doing better with it then I am, thats not unusual colds like to hold onto me. Today DD wakes up with the sore throat so, she's like me with colds we have to watch out they don't turn into ear infections. Now that leaves DH, he is usually the lucky one and doesn't seem to get sick as often as us, he swears its the beer he drinks on the weekends I don't know where he gets that from.

Anyways I know its just a cold but, our last trip to Disneyland we were all sick. The only good part about it was we stayed for 8 nights so a couple of days down time wasn't so bad. We could use any spare pixie dust you might have laying around

Have your DH get you some Thera-flu. I bet you will feel better in no time. I tastes yucky, but it works. I hope everybody feels soon.

Cold pixie dust - I just got over mine - took almost 10 days from first sign of infection to all better.

Here's some pixie dust that your all better before your trip. I know how you feel - colds hit us the same way, always start w/the 4 year old and then we all get it. My sons have asthma, so colds hit them very hard. I was so worried before our last trip that they would get sick. I actually tried to keep them in the house as much as possible the week before our trip, so they wouldn't be exposed to many viruses(I know this is insane, but my son has had to go in the emergency room more than once due to a cold-- he wouldn't be able to fly because we can't use the nebulizer on the plane). with 13 days though, I bet you'll all be fine!!

I'm just recovering from one (that no one else has gotten yet) and I'm usually the one who never gets sick

Head cold, lots of aches and pains, and a low grade fever for a couple of days. Finally today, I'm feeling better, but I'm still very tired!

Here's some that you're recovered by the time you head out. Boy do I know that domino effect - DH and I always pass germs around and I've got a feeling it's happening again. I've just got over my cold and now he's not doing too well....

Yep, I've got mine right now, too. I hate, hate, hate sore throats. I'd take a few more days of a runny nose if I could skip the sore throat part. Ick. Jalen had it, then I got it. I took Airborne! and felt so good the next day, then I ran out and couldn't find it anywhere around here. Wal-Mart was OUT! So the cold came back. Grrrr...
