As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.

Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:

It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!

She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. Is there a way to add a 6th day to a 5 day Disneyland park hopper ticket?
Hello, im not new to disneyland by anymeans however this trip to disneyland (happens to be probably our families final trip to california as we will be going to disneyworld from here on out) we find that we need a 6th day. I booked thru the Wald Disney Travel Company and inquired about this and they simply stated that the longest ticket the offer is a 5 day park hopper. I have heard there is a way to add extra days as long as you havent used all your days on the ticket and it is within 14 days of first use. If this is true Where do you do this? How much is the extra day? Thanks in advance.
Once upon a time (and as early as last year) you could add days to your tickets by going to any park ticket booth (or Guest Services) and tell them you'd like to add a day to your tickets. It used to only be about $5-10 per ticket to do that.
If you speak to a CM that won't allow you to do that, you need to speak to a lead or manager and explain it to them.
Not sure how it works at Disneyland. DW and I were at WDW several years ago on a business convention which included park hopper fun & more tickets. Before we had used all of the days, we went to the desk at the resort and upgraded to I believe 10 days. Then before we left we added the non-expiring option as well. This cost us a bit of money but since we still had several days left on the we felt it was less costly to upgrade than to buy new tickets later. We have used all of the park days but still have some of the "Fun" admissions left (after 7 years) and we plan on using them on this next trip to WDW. In other words, check with the desk when you are checking in to see if the days can be increased. I know at WDW, the cost of adding another day is very inexpensive. Good luck.

Thanks for all the answers, im assuming when you say guest services you are talking about the city hall building at main street usa, or is it someplace in the disneyland hotel? We are staying at the disneys paradise peir hotel. Id prefer NOT to use the ticket booth as regardless of time of year I went it was always long lines.
Each park and Disney owned hotel has a Guest Services desk! So, staying at the Paradise Pier, you should be able to check in and then head right over to Guest Services in the lobby! When you come in the main front doors of the hotel, the front desk is off to the left for check-in and Guest Services is to the right just next to Mickey in Paradise.
