As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.

Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:

It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!

She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). And some of our most devoted community members started a forum of their own at Pixie Dust Lane and all are invited over.

Hi everyone. I haven't posted in over a month. I've been very busy. I am 24 weeks and 4 days along and everything is going great. I went for an anatomy scan a few weeks ago and the baby is growing like a weed. Everything is where it's suppose to be and measuring correctly. The tech asked right before doing the ultrasound if we wanted to know the sex. We said yes. She had the probe on my not even a second and said ITS A BOY! I said how could you tell that so fast? She said look at the monitor. We did and there he was legs wide open and showing all his goods. We are so excited. It took us awhile to figure out a name for our son but we finally came up with one, Cameron Michael Wilson.
We have been having so much fun picking out clothes, a car seat, stroller, pack n play. We bought all that so far. We still need the crib but that has to wait a bit. My mom still lives with us and when she moves out, hopefully soon, that will be Camerons room. So right now we have no room for a crib. Everything we do have is piled on top of our dinningroom table. We live in a small apartment not much room for anything.
I went to my ob a couple weeks ago and she measured me and said I am measuring big. I go back in two weeks to find out why. My ob didn't seem to concerned. I'm not to sure what to think. My blood pressure has also been elevated. She said if it says that way she will be putting me on blodd pressure meds. Not happy about that. But I will do what I have to for the health of both Cameron and me.
I also forgot to mention he has been very active. He kicks me all the time and I love every second of it. My husband is now starting to feel the kicks.
I had elevated blood pressure while pregnant with DD and was put on blood pressure medication. DD turned out 100% healthy and I stayed healthy while pregnant.

Congrats to you, such an exciting time for you! I'm guessing that this is your first baby? My suggestion about the crib is not to worry about it. The best investment is a Graco Pack n Play. Smaller than a crib and movable, plus doubles as a playpen. Way cheaper too! I put my babies in a bassinet for around 5 months, then they go to another room to sleep. If you find that the Pack n Play is too firm for nighttime sleeping, you can pad it a little. We fold a few quilts and put them in the bottom. Someone is going to invent a nice comfy matress for the Pack n Play and make a million $.
My 3rd and 4th babies were big. It happens, don't let them scare you too much. I wish I could go with 1st time moms to their appts. and tell them how much of the testing and measuring is nonsense. Relax and enjoy your final trimester

Congrats on your baby boy- The name you have chosen is really sweet. The stage of pregnancy you are at just now is the best part- enjoy it while you can i've got two weeks left of my pregnancy and have had enough now. Can't wait to meet my new baby and be able to sleep on my front again.
