As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. Thank you aliceinwdw, Caldercup, MrsM, WillCAD, Fortissimo, GingerJ, HiddenMickey, CRCrazy, Eeyoresmom, disneyknut, disneydani, Cam22, chezp, WDWfan, Luvsun, KMB733, rescuesk, OhToodles!, Colexis Mom, lfredsbo, HiddenMickey, DrDolphin, DopeyGirl, duck addict, Disneybine, PixieMichele, Sandra Bostwick, Eeyore Tattoo, DyanKJ130, Suzy Q'Disney, LilMarcieMouse, AllisonG, Belle*, Chrissi, Brant, DawnDenise, Crystalloubear, Disneymom9092, FanOfMickey, Goofy4Goofy, GoofyMom, Home4us123, iamgrumpy, ilovedisney247, Jennifer2003, Jenny Pooh, KrisLuvsDisney, Ladyt, Laughaholic88, LauraBelle Hime, Lilianna, LizardCop, Loobyoxlip, lukeandbrooksmom, marisag, michnash, MickeyMAC, OffKilter_Lynn, PamelaK, Poor_Eeyore, ripkensnana, RobDVC, SHEANA1226, Shell of the South, snoozin, Statelady01, Tara O'Hara, tigger22, Tink and Co., Tinkerbelz, WDWJAMBA, wdwlovers, Wendyismyname, whoSEZ, WildforWD, and WvuGrrrl. You made the magic.
We want to personally thank Sara Varney, who coordinated our community for many years (among so many other things she did for us), and Cheryl Pendry, our Message Board Manager who helped train our Guides, and Ginger Jabour, who helped us with the PassPorter-specific forums and Live! Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:
We go on to the joy and through the tears
We go on to discover new frontiers
Moving on with the current of the years.
We go on
Moving forward now as one
Moving on with a spirit born to run
Ever on with each rising sun.
To a new day, we go on.
It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!
If you miss us, you can still find some of us online. Sara started a new blog at DisneyParkPrincess.com -- I strongly urge you to visit and get on her mailing list. She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. You can see and hear me in my craft show at https://www.youtube.com/c/jennifermaker . Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). And some of our most devoted community members started a forum of their own at Pixie Dust Lane and all are invited over.
So we encourage you to stay in touch with us and your fellow community members wherever works best for you!

I was wondering if anyone could let me know if these things still there? #30 - Willie the Giant inside Sir Mickey's Shop Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Fantasyland Location: Sir Mickey's Souvenir Shop Inside Sir Mickey's shop near Cinderella castle if you look up to where the ceiling meets the walls you can see a giant friend attempting to make his own door. Willie the Giant is was originally introduced by Disney in the 1947 feature in Mickey and the Beanstalk, one of the shorts included in the package feature Fun and Fancy Free. #29 - Buried Jewels of Agrabah Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Adventureland Location: Magic Carpets of Aladdin The buried jewels of Agrabah, thought to be lost forever in animated eternity, have returned. Outside the gates of the Magic Carpets of Aladdin ride look closely at the ground, you might just find jewels and gold pieces embedded right there in the pavement. #28 - French Artist's Easel Park: Epcot Land/Area: World Showcase Location: In between France & England
The small inlet of water in between France and England isn't purely to boat in those gigantic fireworks barges. It also represents a very real body of water between the two European countries, The English Channel. Look closely near the water on the French side and you will spot a bicycle and artist's easel. Take an even closer peek and you will notice that the painting actually is a representation of the scene across the water. #27 - Mickey Laundry on the Line Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Fantasyland Location: Snow White's Scary Adventures
It's all in the details. If you look carefully inside Snow White's Scary Adventures you'll spot some nifty Hidden Mickey's, but it's outside the ride where you'll want to look for this treasure. Painted on the wall opposite the queue is a mural of Snow White with all seven of her pals hanging out in front of their cabin. Look closely on the laundry line and you'll see that someone has been shopping at the gift shop. There's a pair of Mickey Mouse boxers hanging with the rest. #26 - Muppet Ice Cream Planter Park: Disney's Hollywood Studios Land/Area: Backlot Location: Muppet Vision 3-D
We all know about those crazy Muppets so it's no surprise that the area around the Muppet attraction is full of fun little details. There is a beautiful water fountain and even a hot air balloon, but one of the most interesting landscape additions can be found on top of the brick wall surrounding the area. Look carefully at the planters lining the wall, as you get closer to attraction the planters turn in to ice cream sundaes. Remember though, Orlando can get pretty warm so that ice cream has mostly melted. #25 - Old Time Soda Coolers Park: Epcot Land/Area: World Showcase Location: Refreshment Outpost
It gets a bit warm in Orlando during summer and you won't want to pass up a free spritz of coolness. Head to the Refreshment Outpost located between the German and Chinese pavilions and you'll find some old time Coca-Cola coolers. Open them up and get prepared to be blasted with some cool water. #23 - Land Pavillion Mosaic Park: Epcot Land/Area: Futureworld Location: The Land Pavilion
Everything is carefully planned and coordinated in Walt Disney World. Nowhere is that more evident than outside the entrance to The Land Pavilion. There are two long walls decorated with glass tile mosaics flanking the ramp leading into the pavilion. At first glance these striking pieces of artwork look identical, but near the entrance each side has one differing piece. If you're facing the front doors of the pavilion, there is a distinctive green tile about eye level on the left side. #22 - Lady & The Tramp Pawprint Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Main Street Location: Tony's Town Square Restaurant
One of Disney's most romantic animated scenes involved those lovable canines in Lady and the Tramp. Take a stroll down Main Street towards Tony's Town Square Restaurant and make sure you're looking carefully at the ground when you get there. In front of the restaurant you can find two sets of paw prints wrapped in a heart. Then you can head inside for a nice plate of spaghetti and meatballs, but make sure you share. #21 - Cinderella's Carrousel Horse Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Fantasyland Location: Cinderella's Golden Carrousel
Where else would you expect to find Cinderella's horse than on her very own carousel? Disney's most beloved princess needs to travel in style. After boarding the ride carefully search for the horse with the golden ribbon tied around its tail. Climb aboard for a magical spin around Fantasyland. #19 - Test Track's Eggs & Icepops Park: Epcot Land/Area: Futureworld Location: Test Track
Think you can handle being a crash test dummy for the day? If so, head into Test Track in Epcot to try it out. While you're on the ride pay close attention to the three rooms your car will pass through. Inside the heat room you'll find some eggs frying on a heater to your left. In the cold room you'll spot some ice pops and ice cube trays. Inside the corrosive room you'll see two robots, Crus-T and Rus-T, on either side of you spraying down your car. #18 - Talking Trash Can Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Tomorrowland Location: Random
The future is grand, especially in Walt Disney World. Head into Tomorrowland to see one of the Imagineers greatest innovations, a walking, talking trash can named "Push". You'll have to keep a sharp eye out if you want to interact with this funny little waste receptacle; it looks just like any other in the park and roams all through Tomrrowland. #17 - Wooden Leg Named "Smith" Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Frontierland Location: WDW Railroad Train Station
I once knew a man with a wooden leg named Smith. As a matter of fact you can see that wooden leg in the Walt Disney World Train Station located between Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain in Frontierland. Head into the waiting room before walking onto the platform and look above you for a Lost and Found shelf. If you look carefully you'll find the appendage stored safely, waiting to be claimed. #16 - Cinderella Story Mosaic Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Fantasyland Location: Cinderella Castle
The now famous tale of Cinderella has been displayed for all to see in a brilliant tile mosaic in the breezeway under the castle. When walking through the breezeway going into Fantasyland from Main Street, the mosaic will be on your left. Take note of Cinderella's wicked stepsisters, one is red with anger and the other is green with envy. #15 - Japanese Candy Art Park: Epcot Land/Area: Japanese Pavilion Location: Candy Art Stand
Be sure to find the times Miyuki is performing because it's quite a (sweet) treat. This candy artist performs periodically throughout the day in the front of the Japanese Pavilion in Epcot and can be seen creating mythical creatures out of colorful confections. #14 - Classic Muppet Gags Park: Disney's Hollywood Studios Land/Area: Backlot Location: Muppet Vision 3-D
There is a lot to see and do in Disney's Hollywood Studios. In fact, there's a lot to see and do in Muppet Vision 3-D. When browsing through the gift shop, take a look at the walls above the merchandise in the back corner for a quick game of Simon Says. Continue through the store and look in the upper right hand corner near the back of the store to see an actual "hot-set". In the pre-show area, be sure to look at the ceiling in the center of the room for a net full of Jell-O (Annette Funicello). Near the entrance to the show itself, along the back wall is a box of 2-D Fruities. #13 - Infamous Wedding Ring* Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Liberty Square Location: The Haunted Mansion
There has been as much speculation and rumor swirling around the internet for years surrounding this supposedly hidden item. According to some, Master Gracey's poor wife threw her wedding ring from the top of The Haunted Mansion and it landed outside to be embedded in the concrete. According to others, it's the remnants of an old queue post. Either way, when you exit the queue, bear to your right and look down. The ring is very tiny and easy to miss so look closely.
*Note, as of the time of this writing, the "ring" has since been paved over. #12 - Mr. Toad's Wild Business Deal Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Fantasyland Location: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Those with a sharp eye will need to be quick to see this Hidden Disney Treasure because it's easy to miss. Walt Disney World historians know that Mr. Toad's Wild Ride used to occupy the space that is now The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Luckily, Mr. Toad can still be found on the ride. After the Blustery Day scene at the beginning of the ride, your honey pot mobile will enter Owl's tree house. Quickly turn left to see a portrait of Mr. Toad handing over the deed to Owl. #11 - The Hall of Prayer Park: Epcot Land/Area: Chinese Pavilion Location: Hall of Prayer
In Beijing China, The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest is located in the Temple of Heaven. In Epcot, a one half scale replica adorns the Chinese Pavilion. When visiting the pavilion, take the time to note the intricate design and attention to detail placed in every aspect of the Hall. After entering the hall, head for the center of the circular room just inside the door. You'll notice that if your standing in the right spot your voice will echo, but only when in the exact middle of the room. #10 - Free Soda! Park: Epcot Land/Area: Futureworld Location: Club Cool
Walt Disney World giving something away for free? It's true; you can enjoy a sampling of Coca-Cola products from around the world when you're in Club Cool. To find this bubbly oasis, head under the Geosphere and bear right when you reach the fountain. You should see the entrance at the end of the building in front of you, just before the walkway heading towards the entrance to the World Showcase. #9 - Paul Reviere's Lanterns Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Liberty Square Location: Old North Church
Between The Columbia Harbour House and The Hall of Presidents lies a non-descript looking brick building. If you look closer however, you'll notice a small window on the second floor housing two lanterns. The building is actually a representation of the Old North Church in Boston of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow fame. If you check it out at night, you can see both lanterns lit up, and then you can run through Liberty Square screaming "The Redcoats are coming!" Or not. #8 - Walt Disney's Tiepin Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Main Street Location: Magic Kingdom Hub
Walter Elias Disney had a dream that he could create a safe, clean, and most importantly magical place that children and parents could enjoy together. After Disneyland was built, Walt started thinking even bigger. Sadly, he passed away before he could see his Florida project come to fruition but with the help of his brother Roy, that project was completed. To honor his brother's memory, a statue of Walt was placed at the end of Main Street, overlooking the guests as they entered his wonderland. Walt looks on smiling and holding hands with Mickey Mouse. A small detail that you may want to take note of is the tie pin Walt is wearing. At first glance it may look like an Asian character or a religious symbol. In actuality it is the logo of the Smoke Tree Ranch, a resort in Palm Springs Walt frequented. #7 - Archeologist's Rope Park: Disney's Hollywood Studios Land/Area: Backlot Location: Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
Indiana Jones movies are usually filled with adventure, mystery and intrigue. Coincidentally, so is the Indiana Jones stunt show in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Look for an old well near the front of the attraction, close to the entrance to the queue. You'll see a rope which hangs into the well along with a sign asking you not to pull the rope. Go ahead and ignore the sign and listen carefully. You'll hear one of Dr. Jones's colleagues deep underground making some important discoveries. You can actually pull the rope a few times to hear various messages. #6 - Spooky Warning Message* Park: Disney's Hollywood Studios Land/Area: Sunset Boulevard Location: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Possibly the spookiest and most thrilling ride in all of Walt Disney World, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror looms ominously on the horizon of Disney's Hollywood Studios. When in the queue area, after passing through the hotel lobby but before heading through the double doors into the pre-show area, you'll notice a hotel directory on the wall. The directory is located in between the two pre-show viewing areas. If you have time, quickly take a peak at the bottom of the directory to see that certain letters have fallen off the board spelling out message of warning, "Evil Tower UR Doomed".
*Note, Walt Disney Imagineers have since removed this Hidden Disney Treasure, but it may be added back. #5 - Always a Rainy Day Park: Disney's Hollywood Studios Land/Area: Backlot Location: Streets of America
Now everyone at Walt Disney World can be Gene Kelly. At the end of the Streets of America, behind Muppets Vision 3D and near the Lights, Motors, Action Stunt Show you'll notice a lamp post with an umbrella attached to it. If you stand underneath the umbrella, it will actually start to rain on you. Start singing. #4 - Fit for a Princess Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Fantasyland Location: Cinderella Castle
Cinderella is Disney's most recognizable princess. She's even got a fountain honoring her in the Magic Kingdom. You'll find this Hidden Disney Treasure next to Cinderella Castle, behind Tinkerbell's Treasures. When standing directly in front of Cinderella, kneel down and take note of the mural behind her. It will appear as if a crown is being placed on top of her head. #3 - Party Line Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Main Street Location: The Chapeau
You may want to head into The Chapeau to pick up some mouse ears during your stay in the Magic Kingdom. This hat shop carries all sorts of "lids" the stylish tourist may need for a day's adventure. Enter the store at the beginning of Main Street near Tony's. Once inside the store, find the phone on the back wall to the right. Pick up the receiver and listen along to a very interesting conversation. #2 - Hidden Pixie* Park: Magic Kingdom Land/Area: Fantasyland Location: Tinkerbell's Treasures
In Disney's classic animated feature Peter Pan, Tinkerbell finds herself in a tight spot when she's trapped in a drawer in the Darling's bedroom. If you look closely, you may find her in the same spot in Walt Disney World. Enter Tinkerbell's Treasures in the Magic Kingdom and listen carefully. You'll hear Tink flying around the room. Look near the ceiling above the cash register and you'll see her trail of pixie dust. In front of the entrance, to your left, you'll find a chest of drawers. Keep an eye on the keyhole in the top left drawer and you'll see a flash as Tink lands there.
*Note: We have received emails pointing out that Tinkerbell's Treasures' store renovation has possibly led to the removal/adjustment of this hidden treasure. Tinkerbell may now appear in a window behind the counter instead. Also we are looking into information regarding Sleeping Beauty's color changing dress. If you have pictures you'd like to share please visit the contact page. As soon as we have images we will update this page. #1 - "Back in 5 Minutes" Park: Disney's Hollywood Studios Land/Area: Backlot Location: Muppet Vision 3-D
If you're a fan of the Muppets, this is a must see. When entering the attraction instead of walking into the pre-show area, break from the crowd and head to your right. You'll see a security desk and if you're there at the right time, a sign stating the guard will be "Back in 5 minutes" but luckily the "key is under mat". Look down and you'll notice a mat below your feet and if you lift it, sure enough, there's a key there.

Also DeVine at animal kingdom is amazing!
Had to LOL at the talking trashcan. We ran into him on our second trip in 2008. My son who was 6 at the time said "You're wierd" to it as we passed. The trashcan turned and said "I'm wierd? You're the one talking to a trashcan." We still laugh about that one, the look on my son's face was priceless. LOL.

# 21 is gone!!! I was there a couple weeks back and couldn't find her horse anywhere. I rode it in Sept 2010 and I have pictures with it the previous Sept 2009 but March 2011 no horse. I rode the carousel 1 time and we looked all over for it after we rode cause I could not find it. spent about 15 minutes looking for it before I finally gave up. Figured since the carrousel now belongs to the prince that maybe they took her horse away. I was heart broken.
#30 - yes #29 - yes #28 - yes #27 - yes, but not for long. The ride is going to be remade into a Seven Dwarfs ride. #26 - yes #25 - yes, but they aren't always turned on #23 - yes #22 - currently behind a faux wall while they do some renovations to the building, but they are still there. #21 - yes, but the ride has been renamed #19 - yes. Make sure to have someone try the Beverly soda and have your camera ready! #9 - yes. There are also old fashioned bullets (can't think of the word right now) embedded in the ground somewhere around the Liberty Bell and if you notice that the shutters on the buildings hang a little off center ... that's because during the war they needed all the metal available, so fastenings were replaced with leather that stretched and warped in the weather. #8 - yes. #7 - yes #6 - Gone #5 - yes #4 - yes #3 - yes. You can also go down Main Street and take a right by the cart where you can get a shadow outline done. At the end of the street is a quiet little place to rest and listen to a dance class going on upstairs. #2 - the Tink chest is gone, but the dress that changes colors is still there. Last October Tink was still appearing on the screen behind the register when a bell was rung. #1 -yes.
~ There's a courtyard of dinosaurs between Restaurantosoraus and DINOSAUR. There are cute opportunities for kids to climb and drape themselves over the critters.
~ Harambe: Stop for a moment outside the door of the Dawa Bar. You'll swear that you can hear talking, a radio, dishes clanging and a knocking sound. Rumor has it that the knocking is the landlady trying to collect rent from the students living in the "hotel" above the bar. The students are apparently finding other places for their money.
~ Behind Tusker House there's an outside eating area. Have a seat and see if you can hear the sound effects of someone cooking up a meal.

~ In Rafiki's Planet Watch, down on the ground are round murals in cement. They look like huge imprints, or vent covers. They have imprints of animals all jumbled up inside of them. Take a picture and continue on the path. You come to the next and the animals have moved around. Take another picture. Continue on the path, each time stop and take picture. As you go along this path learning about the impact we have on the environment, the animals are "learning" too. By the time you get to the end "round thingy" the animals have arranged themselves in the circle of life. The one before and after each of them is directly affected by the other. Look back at the pictures you took and will see how they slowly figure out where the belong in the circle.

The Great Movie Ride has a bunch of hidden characters. Minnie Mouse's shadow is in the loading area on the mural of Hollywood Hills, ask a CM to spotlight it. R2D2 and C3P0 are on the wall in the Pharaoh area. Tigger is also on the ride but I forgot exactly where. When I visit I will find it and report.

When walking down Hollywood Blvd., take time to notice the offices above the shops and their occupations. Check out the window blinds in the Valiant Bros. Detective Agency window on the second floor at the Studios.
Keep your eye open for the Streetmosphere actors, look for people dressed in 1940’s era clothing.
When entering Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, listen at the doors to studio A and Studio B to see if you can hear a recording session going on inside. In addition to this while you are waiting, you will hear the PA paging various people. These are the Imagineers that designed Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Well except for the Hey Jude reference (I think!). Look closely at the electrical boxes, the initials and birthdays of the Imagineers are carved in there. You can find two HMs on the floor. Keep an eye on the music posters in the rotunda, they will change out. And lastly, keep your eyes open for the alley behind the studio, by the launch area for more hidden gems

The kids guide to Epcot Scavenger Hunt is available at the park entrance.
The World Showcase will be at its most crowded between 3:30 p.m. and closing.
Several opportunities for water play here, check out the "Cool Wash" area just west of Test Track, the leap fountain is located outside of Honey I Shrunk the Audience, watch the water leap from pad to pad. There’s also two play fountains, one located on the main walkway from Future World to the World Showcase, and one over near the walkway to Mission Space (if you think your kids might be playing in these I recommend packing a change of clothes). Also outside the Imagination pavilion is a water fall (water up?) where the water is actually flowing up rather than down. Don’t forget to spend some time watching the big fountain in the middle of Future World, it is officially called Fountain of the Nations, but referred to by many as the Dancing Fountain. Make sure and check it out during the day and at night for a light altering performance.
Look for the talking trash can in the Electric Umbrella restaurant.
Find the marker in EPCOT that represents the center of WDW (in the pathway toward The Land pavilion)
Try to spot the different colors of the stripes on the monorail
At the end of the Journey into Imagination attraction, in the Kodak "What If!" Labs, you can send a video postcard and add special effects--"Imagination style!" .
At the end of Mission: Space attraction, you can send free e-mail postcards at the Postcards from Space booths in the Advanced Training Lab.
You can buy candy from each country in Epcot to take home and do a menu from that country every couple of week and relive the magic.

Once the official opening time for World Showcase arrives you will be allowed to cross over to France and beyond.
English herb & perennial garden behind Ann Hathaway’s cottage in the UK.
The bridge crossing from France to the UK represents crossing the English Channel, Disney’s version of the Channel? Look for a bike and an easel around the channel as if an artist were painting and just stepped away for a minute.
I was in WDW two months ago and this is what I can tell you:

There was construction going on for Mickey's new Theatre so we didn't go over there. Sorry. #21 - Cinderella's Carrousel Horse
I rode on her horse back in '08 but this trip I stood in front of that carrousel in the rain forever and never spotted her. I did however, get dizzy. #19 - Test Track's Eggs & Icepops
Good thing about going during value season, no lines. Bad thing about no lines, no stopping to check out cool queues and the "after party" areas. #18 - Talking Trash Can

The "ring" was there, I've seen it. It was actually an old metal post that was cut down and the base was still embedded in the cement. Really didn't look like a ring at all. #12 - Mr. Toad's Wild Business Deal
I just can't seem to swing my head around fast enough to find it. Yet. #11 - The Hall of Prayer

Again, it was dumping buckets of rain as we passed this area so I didn't pause to look #8 - Walt Disney's Tiepin

I've seen the rope in '09, wasn't working that day but I saw pics in a recent TR and it's still there and working #6 - Spooky Warning Message*
I was on ToT twice and I was so scared both times, I couldn't tell you one thing about that ride other than I hate it. #5 - Always a Rainy Day
Note, I am an idiot. I only rains when you stand on the spot under the umbrella, if you imitate Gene Kelly by hanging off the pole and singing, the rain stops. I got my pics back and wondered what happened to the rain. #4 - Fit for a Princess
I am by no means short (5'7") but I didn't have to bend down to have the crown positioned perfectly on her head. Still cool. Park: Magic Kingdom #3 - Party Line

In Morocco notice the wall mosaics, each 1 has at least 1 flawed or cracked tile on purpose; they believe only Allah can create perfect things.
Get a picture with the belly dancer in Morocco's sit-down restaurant.
In Morocco pass through the plain pair of doors to the building on your left, opposite the courtyard’s water fountain, & you enter one of Epcot’s finest ‘hidden treasures.’ This ever-changing display is called the Gallery of Arts and History. They're very nice, really, but they’re not the ‘hidden treasure’ either! Delicate carvings and hand-painted wooden beams cover every inch of space from the floor and across the ceiling! You’ll luv the ‘hidden’ part; no one seems to knows it’s there!

When arriving at Mexico from the Future World side, walk past the main entrance & turn left at the first walkway. In Liberty Square by the replica of the Liberty Bell, there is rifle "shot" embedded in the brick pavement and there are also candles in one of the upper windows that represent Paul Revere's "one if by land, two if by sea" message.
Some of the gum stuck to things in MK are there on purpose. They're little speakers to help with the parades sounds.

There is a shop around Splash Mountain where you can see Br'er Rabbit's home if you look up at the ceiling.
The story of the statue of Walt and Mickey in front of Cinderella's castle. The sculptor made the statue (who made the statue after Walt's passing) made it with Walt pointing down Main Street to another sculptor of Roy Disney with Minnie on a bench (located at the beginning of Main St, except when the Christmas tree is up). The story goes that Walt is pointing at his brother, Roy, and Minnie and telling Mickey to "Go to my brother and Minnie. They will take care of you now, for I have to go."
A few other tidbits about the statue.
If you also look at the ring on Walt's right hand it has a hidden mickey on it.
Walt's height on the statue is actually a few inches taller than he really was. This was to symbolize how Walt appeared bigger than life to those around him.
The height of Mickey, which no-one really knows, was made so that he would be tall enough (at least if he tilts his head just right) to go on any of the attractions the WDW.
In the Main Street Station there is an antique music box. Pop a quarter in for some music, or check for the short movie machines around the station.
Each day on Main Street U.S.A. there is a Flag Retreat. A veteran is selected for the honor. Check inside City Hall to sign up to be the veteran.
Ride the Walt Disney World Railroad around. Try riding in the last car. The conductor will often let a child (or two or three) stand in the back and be guest conductors helping push the spiel button or saying "all aboard" over the mike. You can board the train at the Main Street Station, in Frontierland and in Mickey's Toontown Fair.
Where the Liberty Tree Tavern is the shutters on the buildings are slightly tilted. That is because during the colonial times the used the hinges on the shutters to make bullets there was a shortage on metal and placed the shutters back up with strips of leather. As time went by the leather stretched and the shutters became skewed or tilted! Also here in this part the "address" on the doors! If you place an 18 in front of the "address" of the door, that is the proper time period for that kind of door.
Check out the beautiful murals and shops inside Cinderella's castle. Also, if you're dining at Cindy's, ask to view the heraldic crest guide for the lobby--the crests all correspond to an Imagineer or Disney himself.
The 3 possum at Splash mountain before the falls on your left that jump up and shout are supposedly saying F-S-U for Florida State University. Sounds like they do .

When you're in the train station, check out the penny music machine upstairs and the high shelves downstairs. The penny machine is a full old-fashioned automated band that will catch everyone's attention. It's a machine that, despite being about 100 years old, is far more impressive than any Ipod. Downstairs, one shelf holds the luggage of several well-known Disney characters - a detail that will delight your little ones.
