All of my kids have done this in one form or another - with some pretty hilarious results, I might add.

Do any of your children (or yourself) walk or talk in their sleep?

Both my kids talk in their sleep (DS more than DD). And DH does as well! No sleep walkers here though

Nate used to walk and talk in his sleep.
The walking in his sleep was a bit scary - one time I found him heading to the basement stairs!

My kids mumble in their sleep, it is hard to understand. My husband used to talk in his sleep a lot.
As far as sleepwalking, my cousin used to do that. One time she got up during the night, put her girl scout uniform on backwards and walked out the front door of her house! If she hadn't shouted "Bye, Mom!" which woke her mother, who knows where she might have ended up.

My DD6 talks in her sleep. I myself, am a sleepwalker. Granted, it's been a while. When I was in high school, I did get up in the middle of the night and make myself a bowl of cereal. Didn't eat it though. I also used to chase the dog around the house.

I used to sleep walk when I was little. My DM told me that once I ended up
outside her bedroom window and she woke up when she heard me talking
outside. After that, she put higher locks on all the doors.

As far as I know none of us sleepwalk and only Luke talks in his sleep, but it's in some foreign tongue so noone can understand him.

DJ tells jokes in his sleep (the ones that are un-funny ) and laughs out loud. The real problem is that he shouts the jokes. That'll wake ya out of a dead sleep.

My kids don't but my DH and I both do. My husband is hilarious!

DH and DD talk to each other in their sleep. The kids rooms are right across the hall from ours. DD will say something and DH will answer her or ask her a question. Scares the bijeebers out of me. You'd swear they are just talking to one another but the next morning neither one can remember. It makes sense though as they are two peas in a pod.

Yep, DS11 used to walk in his sleep, he'd be walking around the living room saying ouch, ouch, and just walking in circles. Once you redirected him to the bathroom and pulled his pants down, he would pee and then go back to bed. He never ever remembered any of those times. He went right back to sleep. He stopped doing that at about 8 years old. They grow up so fast.

So strange that you ask b/c last night was the first time I caught DS sleep-crawling. He was really unsettled all night (I think he's teething) and I looked over at him, he got on his hands and knees, looked at me and smiled, and then his face dove into the mattress.

My DD sleepwalked when she was younger. I once found her downstairs in the kitchen trying to open the refrigerator.

I had a college roommate that actually carried on a conversation with me one night.....after the third reply, which was an odd one, I realized she was actually sleeping.

Ryan talks in his sleep once in a while. It's usually very clear but completely nonsensical - "The Whale said what?"
