As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:

It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!
If you miss us, you can still find some of us online. Sara started a new blog at DisneyParkPrincess.com -- I strongly urge you to visit and get on her mailing list. She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). They teams book flights from France to The Czech Republic. Once in Prague they must make their way to Rudolfinum, a building in Prague.
Here they find the double U Turn and the only one who use it are Cody & Jessica, they U Turn Chris & Trevor.
Detour: This: At Staropramen Brewery they must restack kegs and find the full one and tap it. Then they pour the prefect mug of beer and show it to the brew master or approval. Next the deliver a keg to the Fidelio, a boat bar to get the clue.

That: They must sit through a lecture with the debate on whether or not the world is round or flat. They must memorize facts and take a quiz after and answer 8 questions to get the clue.

I have to say Trevor &Chris really flew through them.
Next they make their way to Andělská Lázeň Beer Spa where 3 guys bathing in beer will give them their next clue.
Now they make their way to Ekotechnické Museum, One team member must answer phone to find 8 that have words to make a quote from Franz Kafka. Once they have all 8 words they must fill out a form and let the 2 mysterious guys in the room check it. You may remember this challenge from season 15. It took out Flight Time & Big Easy (Team Globetrotters)
Jen, Daniel, Evan, Jessica, Alex, Brittany, and Trevor.
Daniel & Evan team up to finish it and Jessica “helped” Alex and Brittany, Jessica gave them the wrong answer so they could get a good lead on them but Brittany saw right through her and told Alex it was wrong they figured it out.
From here they make their way to Letenske Park and look for Phil at a vantage point.
I was hoping karma would step in and Chris & Trevor would beat Cody & Jessica to the mat. I was disappointed. Other than Cody & Jessica I like all the other teams.
So next week it another 2 hour show, actual if I’m reading Wikipedia right the rest of the season will be 2 hours long. They head to Zimbabwe and we will see another double U turn, me thinks Team Big Brother will be the victim here. Also another twist happens, they will switch partners, I hope it just a leg and an non elimination leg, I would like it would have to be,

I too was hoping that they would be last! I feel bad for whoever her partner will be when they switch partners next week!
I believe the other teams are slowly figuring her out!!
Kristi and Jen are very good players!
I do not love team Big Brother nor do I despise them but I am not a huge fan of how they are playing the game. I hope the switch evens the teams a bit. The statement was made that there was 6 legs left but since there are only 7 teams left and the last leg usually has 3 teams that should mean there are 2 additional non-elimination left still to come if my late night math is correct.

I was totally impressed with Well Strung for their work in the THAT school. Two tries! The Firefighters were also so smart to just keep trying over and over.
I noticed the beer guys in the bath changed types of beers over the course of seeing them, so figure they were drinking quite a bit.
Finding that boat was a real problem for some teams. I kinda hate the editors tried to make us thing Well Strung had a chance of beating Big Brother. We figured it wasn't a non-elim segment, but wish it had. They did such a good job on getting the challenges done quickly.
Big Brother team needs some Karma.
Kristi and Jen were very impressive this round. I maybe pulling for them now.
Just finally watched last night.
SO sorry to see Well Strung leave! They were amazing at the Copernicus roadblock. WOW! 2 tries?
NOT liking Big Brother, or at least Jessica, at all - just don’t like how she plays the game.
My team is doing well - Team Extreme - but I fear they will soon have targets on their backs, given they’ve finished every leg toward the top.
Did anyone else cringe over the telephone task? I still remember that one from the season with Flight Time & Big Easy. I almost lost my mind listening to the ringing phones on the TV. Can’t imagine being in the room with them.
