As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:

It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!

I just heard from my sister (who's a nurse) that they will be pulling Children's and Infants Tylenol and generic brands off the shelves soon. They are going to be doing some re-packaging and re-introducing ONLY the Children's strength Tylenol. Not sure how long it will be off the shelves, but my sister told me to stock up. So Disney is not the only place that will not carry the liquid acetaminophen. The reason for the product pull is that parents are giving the wrong version to their children (especially babies) as they are confused about the concentration. One version is cheaper than the other so parents buy the cheaper one and give their children the wrong dose because of the concentration. This causes overdoses so the companies are going to "idiot proof" the liquid stuff by only offering one concentration of acetaminophen in liquid form. At least that's what my sister said - I've stocked up.

I read the label everytime I give any meds...not just to chec the correct doseage but also to check the experation date. I understand that tylenol had some issues but they are trying to resolve them and it seems like they are doing the best they can, maing sure it is not contaminated or anything else. I doubt they would put out a product that wasn't tested and dangerous especially to kids.

I am a pediatric Np and that's what is happening. No more infant's concentration, only children's concentration of ANY acetaminophen product weather generic or not. They are also re doing some of the other acetaminophen doses because people are taking too much, sometimes not realizing their RX pain med contains acetaminophen and then taking more on top of it, causing liver damage. Some lots of Sudfed and Benadryl (brand name by McNeil) had been recalled as well.
I bought a Tylenol-branded packet at the Rock'n'Roller Coaster shop at the beginning of this month - I just had to ask for it as it was behind the counter (with quite a stash of other non-prescription medications), so it is still there if you ask for it.

For every one parent that actually reads the labels, there are a handful who don't or can't. To say that it is the parents fault for overdosing a child because of not reading the label or mis-reading it doesn't due the poor children any justice who are given the meds and become sick or WORSE. As a parent myself, Yes I'm the first line of defense in protecting him. That said, I'm glad that the company sees that there is a potential risk to the health of their target patient. If the makers of these Tylenol products see that there is a history of misinterpretation on their labeling, then yes they should be an advocate for the childrens saftey and simplfy the dose's and instructions.
I went on the link provided and the recall information is from early 2010. I haven't heard anything about a recall in Canada. My son is almost 6 months old and our Dr. specifically recommended Tylenol to give to him after vacinations. I'm going to have to inquire about this at his next appt.
I work part time at Target. We pulled Tylenol products off the shelf last summer. There was a recall on the product. If I remember correctly there was some tampering giong on at the manufacturing plant. I don't think the manufacturers and the FDA have resolved the issue. I believe we have our brand of Tylenol on the shelf. So you really can't buy name brand Tylenol anywhere.
