As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:

It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!

She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). So far we have 2 studios at the BCV for 6 days.
I know both rooms would be separate for for the Dining Plans.
If we did 1 room with the Quick Service, the other room with the Deluxe dining plan, could we say eat at Crystal Palace, the six of us, use 6 TS credits from one room. Then later on, use 6 counter service from the other room? Would that fall into the "non-transferable" part.
The only reason I ask is because I know that you could always use a combination of cash and credits at say 50's Prime Time.
The only thing I could see being an issue is that if not everyone (all 6) is on each rooms reservations.
If in the first room there are only 4 people listed, then you'd get Deluxe Dining for 4ppl. and on the 2nd room you'd have QS for only 2 ppl. But if you have 1 reservation booked for 1 room for 6 people then they would give you 6 DxDP credits per night. But since you have 2 rooms not sure that would work.
Boy I just confused myself.

I don't think it would work either. Your KTTW cards would be listed with the number of adults and kids on the plan. If you're not going to have 6 people in one room (and on the same plan) I don't think you're going to be allowed to use the 6 TS credits in one seating.
You could get away with it for CS, by going up twice to the order station.

It would be three in each room. I know, it's just such an odd question. I don't really think it'd work to use 6 Table Service at one time when there's just 3 listed for that KTTK.
Technically the answer is no, but in reality, it might just work. Disney's policy is that you can only order as many meals as are on the card for your room. We had this happen last month.
I had made an ADR for the 50's PT Cafe for 5 people. John, Sarah and I were on the dining plan, but Jennie and Alicia were not. When I made the reservation - they asked, and I explained that it would be 3 people using the plan, and 2 not. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was very busy, and our waitress was very friendly, but didn't listen very well. When we got the bill, we had been charged for 5 meals (which worked for me - since I didn't have an ADR for the last 3 meals yet anyway!). Since our card said quite clearly 3 adults, I was surprised that they let her do this.
The counter service meals would be a little easier. Just have 2 people order - each person could order 3 meals with their card.
You can probably do this - although some restaurants are more strict with meals than others. I know that most of the restaurants we went to were offering us smoothies and shakes for the drinks, and a coffee with dessert, while Chefs de France was a stickler, and only fountain sodas or regular coffee were counted as your beverage, and you were only allowed one.
The server is *supposed* to only allow the same number of credits to be used as there are guests listed as being on the plan for that room. The KTTW card states the number of adults and kids on the DDP -- that's the number they're looking for.
If you get a willing (or innattentive ) server, you might get lucky on a meal or two. Not the case with most restaurants and I don't think you could count on it.
