(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)
This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.
I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.
I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going!

What do I do now?
We're just getting started, so if any of you start to rest on your laurels, just forget it.

Orionchika brought up an interesting point...What will we do when we are finished with this?
Well, that made me wonder, What WILL I do when what I've been doing is finished?
I mean, there are a couple goals that, it seems, I've been working on FOREVER, and the progress has been like my wagon has been hitched to snails. Not even fast snails, but really lazy slow, stuck snails.
Lately it seems as if some of those slow, stuck snails may be moving. WOW! What if I actually manage to finish some of those perpetually unfinished things?
What would life be like when my head is just a little bit clearer?
I imagine there would be a whole lot more space for dreams and goals.
That's all I have today.
What do you think?

My sister says to always copy before I click send so I can paste if it doesnt post for some reason. I don't always do it but if it is something I've put substantial thought and time into I try to remember to do it. I hope this may help

This made me laugh... poor slow AND stuck snails!!!
But then it made me think... slow and stuck... How many of us try to do good, try to achieve goals, work hard for something, like a better life for our families... and die trying???? Will we regret not working as much to succeed OR not spending more time appreciating and showing our love to our friend and loved ones..... I guess when working towards something, we should remember to love and appreciate along the way.... No Regrets, right?

More thinking with this one too, For the most part - IMHO - as humans.... we are always looking for something to do or to have... So I am positive - at least for most of us - we will NEVER be finished striving to achieve our goals... There just ALWAYS seem to be SOMETHING that NEEDS to get done.... but then this just contradicts what I remember my educators from elementary school to college telling me- We can never say we always do something... that as humans we can't be that absolute... but I do always say my prayers, think of others, appreciate life, and say please and thank you..... and several other things....So then am I a contradiction to their contradictions????? Makes you wonder, huh.....0 Pixie Dust
