Rooms (& Layout) Update
The Lodge boasts 1293 rooms, of which all but 100 overlook the Lodge's own 33-acre savannah with grazing zebra, giraffe, antelopes, and more than 200 birds. The Lodge has an African theme, with thatched roofs, reed walls, and tribal shields contributing to the look and feel of an African village. The six-story, 800,000-square-foot Lodge is shaped like a horseshoe

Food (Dining & Lounging) Update
The Lodge offers three restaurants: Jiko (upscale, fresh meals); Boma (family buffet); and Mara (quick-service dining). Room service is also available.

Recreation (Playing & Relaxing) Update
One swimming pool, slide, two spas (hot tubs), child's wading pool, and a playground.

Transportation (Getting About) Update
Buses only.

Notes (& Tips) Update
The new Lodge was modeled after the successful Wilderness Lodge, but with an African theme. 

We strongly recommend you get a savanna-view room to get the most out of your stay.
