Do you take your own bags to the grocery to bring your groceries home?
If not, does your grocery put your items in a plastic or paper bag? Do they give you a choice?
If you take and use your own bags, what kind are they? Any Disney bags being used?
Do you have an insulated bags for cold items?

I try and take my own bags. Certain stores (Save a lot and Aldi discount stores) do not provide bags. They just put the items back in a cart for you to take to the bagging area and do your own bagging. Most of mine are Disney bags and I have one of the insulated DVC bag.

I try to remember the bags but I'm not always successful. I have a mixture of bags; some from Disney and some from Hannaford Supermarkets. When I forget, I usually let the baggers use the cheapo plastic bags as they rarely give you a choice of paper and they're easier to carry.

I always use my own bags when I go to the store. Most stores offer you a choice of plastic or paper.

I ask for paper bags at the grocery. I recycle them.

Sometimes I'll get plastic. Those I use when I clean out our rabbit's cage.

I used to have an insulated bag but it disappeared a couple years ago.

I dod not use my own bags. My market uses plastic bags and you can recycle them in a bin by the main entrance

It depends on the store. I use my own bags if I'm going to certain stores, but if it's just a local run, I'll use the plastic bags the provide.

I use my own bags for Kroger, Target, Wal-Mart and most other places I shop. The majority of my bags are Disney, hence the nickname I have earned at both Kroger and Target as the "Disney bag lady." :rolf: A few of my bags are from the stores themselves where I shop most often.

Technically, I do take them, because I have several that stay in my car...but I rarely remember to actually bring them in with me.
My grocery store offers either paper or plastic. I usually opt for plastic, because I have 4 med-large dogs and plastic bags are VERY useful...
The bags I bring from home (and forget) are a mishmash of subjects. I have a couple from the Sea Research place on Tybee, a USF Bulls one, a Poland one from the Euro last summer, and a few various others. I did just get one Disney bag for my last birthday - DMil used it as the giftbag for my present.
I don't worry about insulated bags because it takes less than 5 minutes for me to drive from the store back to my house.

We don't have the option between paper and plastic bags here. And there is no recycling of plastic bags either which annoys me since we are charged an environmental tax on almost everything here and I feel guilty throwing them away. I do try to bring my own bag to my local grocery store, but not to Walmart since that usually is a huge purchase.

I should take my own bags, but I don't. I shop at the local SuperValu where they bag in plastic.

I have my own bags and a little basket that I try to take for my big "shop" at Winco. Otherwise I usually get plastic. Winco is a bag-your-own store and I use a mix of paper and plastic.

We recycle plastic bags via the dog or dropping them in a bin at the store.

I tried the reusable bags, but I never remembered to take them in the store, so I just opt for plastic these days. We do recycle the plastic bags, as our local recycling center allows those in with the other plastic stuff.

We shop at Aldi, you have to buy bags, bring your own, or they offer boxes for free. We take our own reusable bags, insulated for cold items as we usually get groceries while running other errands. At our other grocery store or Wal-Mart we get plastic bags and use them as our trash can liners in the bathrooms.

I don't take reusable bags with me. I let them bag the stuff in the plastic bags the store provides. I save them in a bag holder thing hanging on my pantry and I reuse them for numerous other things. usually for sending leftovers home with my oldest son after he comes to eat.
