As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:

It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!
If you miss us, you can still find some of us online. Sara started a new blog at DisneyParkPrincess.com -- I strongly urge you to visit and get on her mailing list. She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). And some of our most devoted community members started a forum of their own at Pixie Dust Lane and all are invited over.

Today we didnt do to much until our dinner with moms favorites at the crystal palace...CP was really disapointing compared to our first time there 2 years before this time we only got to see pooh! it was annoying they didnt even come near our side of the restraunt plus the food wasn't as good but oh well ....Then we went to HS to watch fantasmic and we got really good seats it almost got cancelled due to lightning but it went on with out any delay It was good as usualy only we were right under a speaker and man was it loud haha realllllly loud after that we looked at some shops and took our time leaveing so we didnt get trampled and then we headed back to the hotel

Today we stayed in the hotel and watched the brickyard (jimmie johnson..won yay) any ways then we went to eat at the plaza restraunt in MK which was yummy I really like it there I had the philly steak sandwhich mom and the tuna crisaunt yum yum yum everything was delicious!! then went went over to Its a small world even though it was pouring like super duper duper pour after the ride it was really chilly and it gave me a good oppritunity to buy the tinker bell sweatshirt I had seen in the Tinker Bell shop so i bought it when since the rain had started to stop we decided to stop and watch spectro on the way out again because everyone had left so we got this great spot next the the garbage I know it sounds funny but on one standed near us (and no the garbage didnt smell) any ways it was awsome best place I ever sat even though it was cold and damp but that was ok then we headed back to the hotel
Today was one of our busy days yay...
So first we got up early and headed to HS and watch the voyage of the little mermaid I liked it it was the first time we had seen it in a loooooooong time then as we were walking out we noticed that there was almost to line fot the great movie ride that was also neat because neather of us had ever been on it then we went on the Muppets 3-D which is one of our favs I love it its just to cute although it had been changed since the last time we had been there well at least we thought it had...does anyone know if they changed it between 2006 and 2008? then we went back to the hotel for lunch and a nap then we went to MK to eat at the Noodle station which was gross and we will never go back...thenwe went on TLTA then we wander thru some shops looking for something for my cousins then we went to ride small world again...its my moms fav can you tell?... then we hit some more shops and grabed some popsicles for the walk to the bus station

Today we went to HS to see Beauty and the Beast in the morning because neather one of us had ever seen it we both liked it I got awsome pics and had be our guest stuck in my head for months.... I was disapointed that I couldnt find anything to buy with m dear friennd Lumier er how ever you spell it I love that candel stick man! and there was nothing for me to buy to show my love for him oh well then we went back to the hotel to grab some lunch and it started to pour and didnt stop when it calmed down we ran back to our room and stayed there for a little to see if the rain would stop...it didnt... good thing we had our umbrellas...For dinnner we decided to go to Boatwrights again due to the inclament weather and thefact that we loved it there....We both had the prime rib, and did I mention the corn bread was delicious! after dinner we hoped on the boat and went to DTD and well shop shop shoped and left with a milllllion bags then we were back on the boat and off to bed.........
Today we were up early and off to AK as soon as we got there we went straight to KS to get a FP when we got our FP it was good in 20 mins lucky us so we looked at some near by shops and got ice cream by the time we were done it was time for us to get on we got on with hardly any wait KS took a long time because there was a ostrage in the middle of the road who did not want to move after we got off we went to Flame Tree BBQ for lunch yum yum and then we went back to the hotel for our midday break
For dinner we were off to Le Cellier for our very first time the food was very very good and I loved the pretzels they were delicious the one thing we both agreeded on is that they could turn the lights up just a bit and we got sat in the middle of the floor it felt like haha it was funny ...then next to us on the right there was a couple who welll were not happy with anything at all and they kept talkin to the couple to there right it was funny part of the conversation went like this Mind you the couple the anoying tabel was talking to were form ireland on their honeymoon and it went like this.......
Stupid guy " well how is Ireland anyways what is it like"
Irish guy " well its very nice I recomend anyone to visit"
Stupid guy"well its pretty safe now isant it as long as you dont go up to Northern Ireland I mean you know how they are up there"

HAHA me and DM almost burst out laughing it was just to funny the irish guy was offened you could tell and you would think this would be a hint to stop talking to him but now the guy just kept going until finally they left and when they did the couple to our left leaned over to us and said that they were so glad we came and sat next to them so they didnt have to listen to them anymore they said they talked the entire time needless to say we were glad we hardly had to deal with them......After dinner we walked around a bit looking for agood place to watch Illuminations since we decided we didnt want to sit on the ground the whole time we sat outside the one shop next to the lagoon the little one im sure you all know and well we found somethine to do with our time ....The door to the store had to pushed open instead of pulled hahahah you should have seen the people walking up to the doors and pulling it as hard as they could and the priceless look they had on there faces when they pushed it open ha it was to funny....so when people started to gather we went down and sat at our spot that we had been watching inbetweeen wathcing people try to open the door haha ...our spot fir illuminaions was great we could see everything perfectly on our way out we sat down and watched all the crazy people trying to power walk it to there buses when the crowds thined out we thought we were safe but when we got to our line we saw quite the opposite the line was huggggggggge the longest we had seen any of the lines the whole time we were hear so we sat on another bench and watched people pile into the bus it took 8 buses before we even thought about standing in line and even then when we got in line we still ended up stand excepy for mom a guy got up and stood for her nice people alll around as long as your over 50 ....then we were off to bed

Day 6 July 26...
