As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:

It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!

She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). After spending a wonderful 11th aniversary with DH it is now back to reality. I wish the weekends were not so busy. I either work all weekend at the hospital or work all weekend at home. It never feels like there is enough time to do everything. Today we are getting ready for a birthday party for friends twins who will be three tomorrow. So on with todays update/trivia.
So to make you wait an extra day for Fridays answer. The answer to Fridays question is Morocco.
Today's trivia is the Norway Pavilion is the world's largest Norwegian tourist attraction (next to Norway itself), with more than 4.5 million annual visitors--which is nearly the same as Norway's total population.
For the next few days I am going to post pictures from DH and my trip in 2004. It is hard to believe there was life before DS, but this is proof. This was DH first trip. We stayed at POFQ and were visited by hurricane Francis while we were there. We drove down two days before the hurricane hit. We did this trip driving all the way through the night. As we entered Floridia everyone else was leaving. We were determined not to let a Hurricane ruin our vactation. I do have to say with the hurricane on the way the parks were really empty. Until our two days we never had a wait for any ride. I was a little sad because I didn't get to look at the cues that much.

Well since I got Disney mail and decided to book a in room celebration, I just need to finish packing.
So now the excitement is getting to be a little much for me. I am trying to keep the Pirates and Pals cruise and in room celebration a secret and it is getting so hard not to talk about it.
It truely seems that it is taking forever for our departure day to arrive. I truley belief this will test my patience. I keep trying to finds things to do, but I am having a real hard time with that. I can't even concentrate that much at work. Oh well the trip will be here before I know it.

After a very long night at work last night I am going to try to get this update done without falling alseep. It was so much easier working nights when DS was a baby. I could get 2 naps in during the day. Now I don't usually even get more than one hour of sleep.

Todays picture is of our first breakfast at CP. I loved the character interaction when we were there. Eeyore keep trying to steal me and get rid of my husband. This picture is when he first approached the table. I have to say this was one of the best character interactions we have ever had. Eeyore said he wanted to come home with me, but I couldn't figure out a way to sneak him out.
This interaction proved to me that it was fine to go to WDW without any kids and still have a great time. You don't need kids to feel like a kid and have a great time with your favorite disney friends.
