We Can Fly, We Can Fly, We Can Fly......We Flew Trip Report - Page 21 - PassPorter - A Community of Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and General Travel Forums
As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. Thank you aliceinwdw, Caldercup, MrsM, WillCAD, Fortissimo, GingerJ, HiddenMickey, CRCrazy, Eeyoresmom, disneyknut, disneydani, Cam22, chezp, WDWfan, Luvsun, KMB733, rescuesk, OhToodles!, Colexis Mom, lfredsbo, HiddenMickey, DrDolphin, DopeyGirl, duck addict, Disneybine, PixieMichele, Sandra Bostwick, Eeyore Tattoo, DyanKJ130, Suzy Q'Disney, LilMarcieMouse, AllisonG, Belle*, Chrissi, Brant, DawnDenise, Crystalloubear, Disneymom9092, FanOfMickey, Goofy4Goofy, GoofyMom, Home4us123, iamgrumpy, ilovedisney247, Jennifer2003, Jenny Pooh, KrisLuvsDisney, Ladyt, Laughaholic88, LauraBelle Hime, Lilianna, LizardCop, Loobyoxlip, lukeandbrooksmom, marisag, michnash, MickeyMAC, OffKilter_Lynn, PamelaK, Poor_Eeyore, ripkensnana, RobDVC, SHEANA1226, Shell of the South, snoozin, Statelady01, Tara O'Hara, tigger22, Tink and Co., Tinkerbelz, WDWJAMBA, wdwlovers, Wendyismyname, whoSEZ, WildforWD, and WvuGrrrl. You made the magic.
We want to personally thank Sara Varney, who coordinated our community for many years (among so many other things she did for us), and Cheryl Pendry, our Message Board Manager who helped train our Guides, and Ginger Jabour, who helped us with the PassPorter-specific forums and Live! Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:
We go on to the joy and through the tears
We go on to discover new frontiers
Moving on with the current of the years.
We go on
Moving forward now as one
Moving on with a spirit born to run
Ever on with each rising sun.
To a new day, we go on.
It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!
If you miss us, you can still find some of us online. Sara started a new blog at DisneyParkPrincess.com -- I strongly urge you to visit and get on her mailing list. She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. You can see and hear me in my craft show at https://www.youtube.com/c/jennifermaker . Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). And some of our most devoted community members started a forum of their own at Pixie Dust Lane and all are invited over.
So we encourage you to stay in touch with us and your fellow community members wherever works best for you!

Just popping in to say how much I am enjoying hearing all about your trip! Loving the pictures too. As everyone has said Abby is growing up. I know you are proud of your beautiful princess.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy my TR. Abby is growing up and yes, I am very proud of her. She is such a good kid and has come so far. I couldn't be happier with her.

Thanks Olive. We too felt bad for Abby but we did the best we could under the circumstances. We cleaned her up and made sure she was comfortable in the other bed before heading out for the laundry and to bed ourselves. By the time I got to bed, yes I was exhausted. I don't think I was awake more than a minute or two once I laid down. That picture too is a favorite of mine. She has such a natural smile on her face and it was completely unexpected of her to do that.

There have been a few occasions in our house where Sean has gotten sick and I insisted on throwing the dirty linens in the wash, less smell in the morning.
The tour was a lot of fun and if you have kids that enjoy scavenger hunts and doing "silly" things (riding pretend horses, playing follow the leader through an theme park) then I bet it would be a hit for your family too. You'll have to stay tuned for Abby though. And yes, that's exactly why I did laundry then. At least at home you can throw it in the washer and leave it until morning though if it happens in the night.

Wow, I'm impressed. I've given a lot of information over the years so to go and read all of them at one time? I'm really glad you've enjoyed them. We've had some great times and not so great times and it amazes even me how much Abby has grown up from the first TR to this one. It'll be interesting to see how much she changes if and when we return to Disney in the future. If it happens, there'll be a TR for it.

Other than Abby - and the rain too - we were having a great time. Come back for my next installment to hear about Abby. If you didn't pass us on Saturday, the only other day would have been Sunday as that was our last day in the parks so I'll guess you'll have to come back for that too and let me know if we were in the same place at the same time but just missed each other.

Thanks for posting the picture of you and me! I treasure that time, because you and your family was my 1st Passporter's meet!
As a mom too, that is the worst when your child becomes sick! I hope Abby felt better the next day. I am sure the heat really didn't help either!
I am trying to start my TR...but I don;t know if I want to just post the whole trip in one post or several. Decisions Decisions!
Looking forward to reading more of your TR! : )
I'm so glad you're following along Kate and didn't mind me posting the picture with you. I should have asked first but I didn't think you'd mind. I too really enjoyed our time together but it went so quickly. At least now you know for your future trips that PPer meets are a lot of fun and IMO just add to the vacation.
I'm sure the heat didn't help Abby at all. I'm pretty sure I already told you once about Sunday but it sounds like you forgot so like everyone else, you'll just have to come back .
As for posting your TR, I like to do mine in several posts so in case someone tunes in at work or gets distracted at home, it's easier to finish a shorter post and come back to another one than to find your place in a big long one. Of course too I went for 10 days so that would be a pretty long post for my TR . You only went for a few days so yours will be shorter than mine anyway but do what makes you comfortable. Give details, give just highlights, whatever you want to give. There's no right and wrong way to post a TR as far as I know (well there might be so check out any sticky threads about TR's first and ignore what I have to say as needed ). But do please attempt one as I'd love to hear your take on our meet (and you can leave out the parts about me being crazy and repeating myself 100 times which I'm sure I did - not everyone needs to know that I'm crazy and repeat myself )

Yes, sadly pressed pennies are an addiction and anytime we see something that looks like a penny machine we have to stop and look. There have been times we've actually walked by them and not gotten the pennies but that's pretty rare. Usually we get them but when it's $1.00 for a penny instead of 50 cents, it's easier to keep walking. Just to give you an example of how addicted we are, in the middle of a field trip with Abby a few years ago, I left the group to go find the penny machine I knew was in the area and our last time driving to Disney, we stopped at a rest area because we knew pennies were suppose to be there (and they were). I think I need an intervention group .
The Tour was a great idea - love all your photos of the day, and Lenny with his buttons
You sure pack a lot in a day, but, like you have said before, you can sleep at home.
(You need to think about packaging all your TRs together in a book. I remember reading one last year, then immediately going back to search the older ones. You have a gift for describing the events and emotions of a trip - the magic, and the not so magic (which just make the good times that much better) )

Thanks Sharon. I'm glad you enjoyed reading about the tour and all the photos I included. And yes, there's always time for sleep at home. As for a book, I'm not sure that many people outside of the boards would be all the interested in our experiences. I suppose with some of my pictures, I could do a coffee table book - if they even exist anymore - but that's probably about it. For the rest of my TR's, the links in post one in this thread will do nicely.
Sunday morning, I was up at 6:15 - just a little over four hours after I went to bed. I didn’t feel nearly as bad as I should have and I don’t know why. After I was ready for the day and Lenny was in the process of getting ready, I ran down to the food court to get coffee and sodas. While I was there, I picked up two milks, two yogurts, a banana and a raisin bran for Lenny. I wasn’t overly hungry and didn’t care if I had anything. I got Abby up when I got back and she told me her tummy still hurt some. I hugged her and told her she’d be all right and I noticed she felt hot. I still pack a thermometer when we go on vacation so I pulled it out and took her temp and sure enough she had a slight one (101.1). I gave her some tylenol and even though she wasn’t feeling well she managed to eat most of a package of pop tarts. I debated staying at the hotel but Abby wanted no part of it. She wanted to go to a park.
The decision was made - we would go to the park. Since it was our last full day at Disney World, I wanted to spend it all at the MK to do anything we hadn’t done yet and to do repeats of our favorites. Abby had other plans though. She wanted to go back to the Studios to see Wreck It Ralph again. I didn’t want to because with a scooter user, I knew it would be very time consuming but Abby was insistent on wanting to do it. Regardless of that, we did start the morning at MK because we had an 11:35 ADR for the CP. We arrived at the TTC around 9:10 and while Lenny and I were getting the scooter assembled, I heard something that no parent wants to hear in any parking lot, let alone the parking lot at Disney. Yes, you guessed it, Abby was throwing up. I stopped helping Lenny and went and tended to Abby. The responsible side of me wanted to pack up the car again and go back to the hotel. The not so responsible side, that was spurred on by both Abby and Lenny saying "we don’t want to go back to the hotel," was the side that won out. I cleaned Abby up as best as I could, told her to keep away from what she left on the ground (she seemed very drawn to it) and finished helping Lenny get everything on the scooter. We even moved the car to another spot to make it look like we weren’t the ones responsible for what was on the ground. When we were done, we went to the MK like nothing was wrong. Since things like Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain where out of the question, we started in Tomorrowland with the Monster Laugh floor. The room wasn’t overly full but the show was cute, especially when they kept picking on "that guy." Abby still didn’t look good and told me her tummy still hurt. When we go to Disney, I travel with my anti-nausea medicine and even though Abby usually has difficulty swallowing pills, I gave her one hoping I could get it into her. It was small and Abby had no trouble getting it down and I was hoping it would help her like it helps me.
CoP was our next stop - a nice low key attraction. There was barely anyone in the theater but it’s still something we enjoy. Because Abby wasn’t feeling well, we really just took our time this morning. After CoP, we hit the bathrooms (no, not for Abby) and just sat for a while. Abby started getting anxious though about our lunch at CP and had to get over there. It was barely 11 but there was nothing we could get done before check in time so that’s where we went. I did leave Abby and Lenny for a couple of minutes though to run and get some pennies from the Castle Couture shop. We had tried for these earlier in the week but the machine was out of order. From past experience, we knew that often if we went back another time, chances were good the machine would be working again. Today it was working so I quickly got the pennies and made it back to Lenny and Abby in time to check in for lunch.
It didn’t take long for our pager to go off and to be shown to our seats. I told Abby under no circumstances was she to go to the buffet herself. Her father or I would get her something to eat and she was to take her time and chew it very well (we think she ate too fast/just swallowed food from the night before) and when she was full, she was to stop. Abby was fine with that and not only did she eat very slowly and very well, she also ate very little. That didn’t bother me though as I didn’t want her to get sick again. She started to perk up a little bit during lunch and just like every other time we’ve been here, lines formed at the buffet. I had grabbed myself a plate of salad and a plate of hot stuff so I didn’t get caught in the lines and miss the characters. The lines seemed to move quickly though today. The one disappointment for me though was by the time we were done eating, we had only seen one character. The time seemed to go so slowly because we were done eating but we were there to see Pooh and friends so we couldn’t just leave without seeing them.
While we waiting, we started discussing what the best way to get back and fourth to the Studios would be. Any option we looked at was going to be time consuming. Taking the car meant assembling and disassembling the scooter twice. Taking a bus meant getting to a resort where we could actually get the bus to the Studios but it also meant waiting for a bus. I didn’t like either option and really just wanted to spend the day at the MK but Abby had her heart set on seeing Wreck It Ralph and Vanellope again. I take Abby to Disney to see her have a really good time and I love it when we end on a really high note and I just didn’t have the heart to deny her this request so to the Studios we would go.
I don’t know if it saved us any time or if there was another way we could have done it but we finally decided on how to get to the Studios. After lunch, we took the monorail to the Contemporary . Once there, we went outside and waited for a bus . One finally came (after about 20 minutes) and it stopped at the Polynesian and the GF before going to the Studios but we were there within an hour of leaving the MK - and there was no work with the scooter involved. We got through security and the turnstiles very quickly as there weren’t many people going in at that time. We went right to the Wreck it Ralph M&G which wasn’t even open yet and got in line. Abby was very happy to be first in line and she didn’t mind the wait we had (it was only about 25 minutes anyway).
As it was getting closer, we talked a little bit with the CM that was there and she said that she would go tell Ralph and Vanellope their biggest fan was first in line. I thought it was just talk but then she came back and said she had talked to them and they had a surprise to give to Abby but not to tell Abby (Abby was paying attention to something else by that time). I said okay and just kept talking to the CM until Ralph and Vanellope came out.
Once they did, you should have seen Abby. She was all excited and as soon as that rope was down, Abby entered the M&G area and was immediately hugged by Vanellope. The music for the M&G started and next thing I knew Abby, Ralph and Vanellope were dancing to "When Can I See You Again" - her favorite song from the movie .
Abby’s M&G ended with a group hug
A couple of Lenny’s pictures
After dancing for a minute or two, Vanellope tried getting something from Ralph’s pocket and it was cute to see the interaction between the two of them so she could get it. What she pulled out - the surprise for Abby - was a two piece magnet. One piece was a square almost like a picture frame (the center was missing) with the words "Today I am." The second piece was a solid square that had Ralph, Vanellope, Sgt Calhoun and Felix. Ralph said "gonna wreck it." Vanellope said "adorable." Felix said "Gonna fix it." Sgt. Calhoun said "in charge". So whenever Abby wanted to, she could take the frame and put it over one of the faces so it would say "today I am gonna wreck it" or "today I am adorable." I thought it was really sweet and Abby absolutely loves it.
Abby’s day had definitely turned around and to see the interaction and time she received at the M&G made it so worth the effort to get there. We were all very happy when we left there.
Before we left the park though, Abby wanted to do TSM and Star Tours again. Instead of criss crossing the park like had become our habit, we went to TSM after leaving the M&G.
Abby wanted to ride with me this time and while she wasn’t happy I got a higher score than her this time, she accepted it. We then went to Star Tours where Lenny was once again allowed to ride his scooter through the line but this time I told them I was going to sit out.
No way was I going to ride it again. It’s a good thing I didn’t as this time, it was even rougher than the storyline I experienced and both Lenny and Abby came out saying they didn’t feel that great because of it. I wasn’t thrilled to hear that but there was nothing I could do about it. I gave Abby the option to ride another ride and when she asked for Back Lot Tour, I did say no. I told her I’d rather go back to the MK and ride Ariel or Small World or something a lot more fun so that’s what we did.
Before when we had gotten dropped off at the Studios, the driver told us we would need to get on bus 4 to get back to the resorts so when we got outside and started walking to the bus stop, I noticed a bus just pulling into stop 4. Abby and I walked as fast as we could and Lenny zipped ahead because I wanted on that bus. Lenny got there, the driver acknowledged him and got up to let Lenny on. Abby and I hopped on before the driver closed the front doors and while Lenny got loaded, I asked Abby which hotel we should go to. I didn’t really want the Contemporary because of the way their loading platform worked so that left the Polynesian and the GF. I figured the GF would be easiest as it has a plenty of room to wait it was only one stop away from the MK. Abby agreed so I told Lenny where we would get off and he told the driver. As we drove back, I told Abby to close her eyes and get some rest and I did as well. I think I might have even dozed. Lenny said he closed his eyes for a few minutes too. We made it to the GF and just as we were getting to the doors to the loading platform, a monorail arrived in the station. We all moved a little bit quicker and we got right on this too and in just a couple of minutes we were back to the MK (this was around 5).
All in all, doing the monorail to the bus to the Studios and back again worked in our favor that day. I do feel it saved us some time from the monorail to the car then breaking down the scooter route but I think it’s only because of the time of day. If we tried to do that early in the morning or later at night, we wouldn’t have been getting on the first bus or first monorail. So needless to say, I certainly won’t be making a habit of it - I’m still going to stick with getting a rental car. I don’t like having to wait for a bus, I like to get in a vehicle and go. I’m also not going to make a habit of hopping from the MK to another park - it’s just a pain. Epcot to DHS, that’s doable because of the boat, but not the MK to anywhere.
When we entered the MK again, we entered near Package Pickup and there was an ice cream cart right there. About the same time, Lenny and I both noticed this one had that frozen orange thing we had when we were in AK. I asked for 3 of them, I ran my card and when the CM came back, he handed me one. I asked about the other two "You asked for 3 of them?" "Yes, I did" "Oh, I just need you to run your card again for me." I just chuckled to myself as that did seem to be an ongoing problem this week but at least at the MK, it was fixed right away. Even though Abby wasn’t feeling well again, I was hoping it would somehow help her. The two of us sat down outside Package pickup to eat them and Lenny ran to have a cigarette. While we were there eating and waiting, a CM approached me and asked if I’d like to do a survey and when I pointed to the frozen treat, she said I could bring it in and that Abby could come in too and wait. It was inside in the AC so I said sure. It only took a few minutes to do and when we were done, the CM told us we could sit inside as long as we wanted to so we took her up on that offer. I kept my out for Lenny but never saw him so I kept trying to call. I couldn’t seem to get in touch with him but he finally called me and I told him where we were. Abby and I finished the frozen treats and went out to look for Lenny. Just as I saw him in front of the Emporium, the Move it Shake It Celebrate It Parade started so for a couple of minutes, we were on different corners of the street. That finally moved out of the way and we went to a ride we had yet to ride - Winnie the Pooh.
We saw a profile of Mickey in this cloud - can you see it too?
Just like at Buzz Lightyear, there were a few wheelchairs there so Lenny got in one and I pushed him through the line. After visiting the hundred acre woods, we decided to go under the sea again with Ariel. We do like this ride and I think it is quickly becoming a favorite of Abby. By the time we got off that, it was close to 7 - the time I told mom I would call her .
Not too many pictures came out without the flash in here
Two years ago when we flew to Disney, we had one reservation number so it was easy to check in with my phone for my boarding passes. This year with 3 numbers and having to put in full names for each number, it was going to be very difficult. I have a "dumb" phone so that means all I have are the alphanumeric keys (keys that have both the alphabet and numbers on them). Trying to check in would be a very time consuming, frustrating task for me. When I had talked to mom earlier in the week, she said she would do it on the computer for me if I "walked" her through it. That wouldn’t be too hard - and it would save me time on my phone and lots of frustration. So after riding Ariel, we walked over by Belle’s cottage where there was a low wall I could sit on to call home. When mom answered, we talked for a few minutes as she had been to see the show Odysseo that day and I asked how she liked it. When she was done telling me about it, she went online to SWA and in only 2 or 3 minutes, we were all check in with our boarding pass numbers. Mom was wondering how I would get my boarding passes so I told her I could either get them at RAC or I could get them at the airport. The important thing was getting checked in. Once I did that, I could print the passes anytime. We talked for a few more minutes, I bid her a good night and said we’d see her the next night and off we went to see what we could do before it was time to leave.

Philharmagic is where we ended up first since it was right there. We had talked about trying for Splash and Thunder Mountains but as we left the "opera house" Lenny was starting to get hungry as was his scooter for some reason. We headed to Rapunzels Village where we found a stump that Lenny could use (a couple of them were in use by other people for phones or whatever electronic devices they had). As had been our luck the last few days, as we were grabbing our things off the scooter to go to the Columbia Harbor House for dinner, it started to thunder and lightning. We covered the scooter the best we could, grabbed the umbrellas and before we even left Rapunzel’s village, it started to pour. We made it to Columbia Harbor House a couple of minutes later (it was very slow going for Lenny) and I was surprised that the line wasn’t huge. It rains and people take cover but obviously they didn’t do it here. In just a couple of minutes, I had dinner for us - a fish meal for Lenny, an adult chicken meal for me and a kids nugget meal for Abby. It didn’t take us too long to eat and when we left the restaurant, it was still raining. Since Fantasyland was still so close, Abby wanted to do Small World again so that’s what we did. We then went right across the way and did Peter Pan.
Even though it was still raining, after Peter Pan, we headed to Frontierland to see about Splash and Thunder Mountains. I think it was even Abby’s suggestion. It wasn’t thundering or lightning at that point in time, but I felt certain the rides would be closed. Especially since it was announced that due to the weather, the MSEP had been canceled. As we neared Splash, we did see logs coming down with people in them and Abby commented it must still be open. I told her not necessarily - it could have been people that were still on the ride that Disney was trying to get off. We continued on anyway only to find out both Splash and Thunder Mountains were closed. I wasn’t surprised but it did choose that moment to start thundering and lightning again. I asked Abby if she wanted to do anything else but she wanted to leave. She wanted to leave even more when it began to pour very hard again . It took a few minutes to get back to the monorail as lots of people were doing the same thing. There were so many people at that time, we didn’t get on the monorail until the 3rd train that came in (it wasn’t a huge wait time though - maybe 10 minutes if that).
It was still thundering and lightning out and after we got on the monorail, we sat there and sat there and sat some more. According to whoever came over the loudspeaker, there had been a lightning strike very close to the monorail line and we had to wait for power to be restored. Even if she had not said that, it was pretty evident we couldn’t go anywhere. The gates at the platform didn’t close nor did the monorail doors. After about a 10 minute wait I’d guess, we were on our way and it was raining so hard, you couldn’t even see Bay Lake from the monorail. We could see the lights of the GF, but that was about it. After going through the GF, we stopped in the middle of the track and waited again. I have to admit, when it’s thundering and lightning like that out, it’s a little nerve wracking to be sitting in a monorail in the middle of the track with nothing else around you. It wasn’t too long before we were on our way again and then stopping again between the Poly and the TTC. I had to shake my head and I commented to Lenny "geez, they could have waited at the platforms of the GF and the Poly instead of the middle of the track." We finally made it to the TTC and I gave Lenny the car keys and told him to go ahead of us and get the scooter in the car if he could.
We got to the car, got the scooter put in and finally left the TTC where it was still pouring. The further we got away from there (and the closer to the hotel) the rain was finally slowing down and when we got to ASMu, it wasn’t raining at all. Since we didn’t have to dodge rain drops, we took a few minutes to clean everything out of the car so I could start packing. When I got to the room, I did start to pack a little bit. I used the second bed in Abby’s room as a staging area and I opened a few of our suitcases so I could put things right in instead of making piles and moving things twice. Unfortunately I got tired very quickly and started going around in circles so I called it quits and went to bed around midnight.
I'm so glad to hear that Abby started feeling better the next day. It also sounds like you had a wonderful last day!!! I am so glad that overall your trip was magical and I can't wait until it is my turn to go. I hope that your family is able to go back sometime soon as I see how much you all love WDW through your pictures.

How sad Abby getting sick and not feeling well on the last day. I think I would have gone back to the Hotel, go Abby for sticking it out!!!! Well the Studios paid off for Abby, glad to see the photos of her having a great time!!! I love the way Magic steps in at the right times. The ride back to the car did not sound like it was pleasant at all. The rain in Orlando is the strangest thing, may rain in MK and be dry as a bone in DHS, you just can never tell!!!! Hope you had a good night sleep before leaving for home the next day!!!
So sorry that Abby got sick this morning, but you all still packed in loads of fun between MK and DHS. Abby's character interaction with Wreck It Ralph was priceless and what a sweet gift from them, too.
What a bummer that Abby still wasn't feeling well - but man did she PERK up for Ralph & Vanellope! You can see how happy she is! What a sweet interaction!
And nope - we didn't cross paths this day.......we were at AK all day and we were going to head to MK that evening BUT that storm got in our way - although we heard from many people and also saw on FB about power outages all over MK, it even flickered at our resort a few times, so we called it an early night!

What an awesome m&g with Ralph and vanellope! I'm glad Abby started to feel better since it always sucks to be sick on vacation. Your last full day sounds like a great way to end your trip.
It can't be time to pack already! Sorry about the rain and Abby's moments of not feeling well again, but yet again, a really full day! The interaction with Ralph and Vanellope looks adorable and how sweet that they gave Abby that cool frame. I haven't even seen this movie, but the fact that the characters are so sweet makes me want to!
