The Overtakers are in Qahoots. FIRST WILD RIDE 15SEP2011-18SEP2011 - 01DEC2011 Updated - Page 18 - PassPorter - A Community of Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and General Travel Forums
As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. Thank you aliceinwdw, Caldercup, MrsM, WillCAD, Fortissimo, GingerJ, HiddenMickey, CRCrazy, Eeyoresmom, disneyknut, disneydani, Cam22, chezp, WDWfan, Luvsun, KMB733, rescuesk, OhToodles!, Colexis Mom, lfredsbo, HiddenMickey, DrDolphin, DopeyGirl, duck addict, Disneybine, PixieMichele, Sandra Bostwick, Eeyore Tattoo, DyanKJ130, Suzy Q'Disney, LilMarcieMouse, AllisonG, Belle*, Chrissi, Brant, DawnDenise, Crystalloubear, Disneymom9092, FanOfMickey, Goofy4Goofy, GoofyMom, Home4us123, iamgrumpy, ilovedisney247, Jennifer2003, Jenny Pooh, KrisLuvsDisney, Ladyt, Laughaholic88, LauraBelle Hime, Lilianna, LizardCop, Loobyoxlip, lukeandbrooksmom, marisag, michnash, MickeyMAC, OffKilter_Lynn, PamelaK, Poor_Eeyore, ripkensnana, RobDVC, SHEANA1226, Shell of the South, snoozin, Statelady01, Tara O'Hara, tigger22, Tink and Co., Tinkerbelz, WDWJAMBA, wdwlovers, Wendyismyname, whoSEZ, WildforWD, and WvuGrrrl. You made the magic.
We want to personally thank Sara Varney, who coordinated our community for many years (among so many other things she did for us), and Cheryl Pendry, our Message Board Manager who helped train our Guides, and Ginger Jabour, who helped us with the PassPorter-specific forums and Live! Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:
We go on to the joy and through the tears
We go on to discover new frontiers
Moving on with the current of the years.
We go on
Moving forward now as one
Moving on with a spirit born to run
Ever on with each rising sun.
To a new day, we go on.
It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!
If you miss us, you can still find some of us online. Sara started a new blog at DisneyParkPrincess.com -- I strongly urge you to visit and get on her mailing list. She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. You can see and hear me in my craft show at https://www.youtube.com/c/jennifermaker . Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). And some of our most devoted community members started a forum of their own at Pixie Dust Lane and all are invited over.
So we encourage you to stay in touch with us and your fellow community members wherever works best for you!

I'm so glad...everyone enjoyed WH's pics of Hallowishes. He's got some tremendous skill and focus. It would be hard for me to do that...because I feel like you miss something when looking through a photo lenses instead of just straight on. The scrapbook is coming along...I'm down to the last few pages...I got sidetracked this weekend because we worked in the yard...and hung Christmas lights.
The in-laws were also in town...and my BFFs came over and we Rock Banded on Saturday night. So it was a very busy weekend for me...plus...I lost motivation...and did some work on homemade Christmas cards...trying out different things!!! Now I have to stop at Hobby Lobby on my home and find a stamp that says Happy Holidays!!!
The pictures are amazing. I kept saying, "Oh, I like that one" OHHH, I like that one. and so one. WH really does take very good pictures. And I can see how you would loose motivation playing Rock Band. That is something we do with all of our family/friends too. My husband's daughter absolutely loves it. That is usually a must when we get together for the holidays, too.
Can't wait for more.

I seriously love RockBand. I can play 100% on Easy on Drums, Hard on Lead Guitar, Expert on Bass guitar, and Medium on Vocals, We try to get together every couple of weeks and play and I'm constantly scouting for new music. My sister gave me an acoustic guitar and I'd like to take lessons...but my life is pretty busy.
So...are you all ready to finish up MNSSHP for this TR?
Well..Hallowishes finished up...and we didn't get to meet some of the other Villains at the Mix and Mingle...so we went back over and watched the 10:05 Villians show...and waited in line...for THE EVIL QUEEN!
There she is in all her glory. While we were waiting in line...I ran into one of those people. A lady with a stroller and a ton of kids who was trying to cover the lines for all the Villains. We were in line...she rushed over...rolling over my foot with her stroller...then left her stroller...and headed off to the other lines. So...she'd kind of cut in front of me...and then took off. Her husband was in the line for Cruella...and she went over there....well...the line was moving...so we finally get up to her...and stroller lady wasn't back...then comes racing back over with 2 of her kids...and tries to get back in front of me...when I was about to step up to the Evil Queen. Well...the people behind me were yelling at her and me. Telling me to not let her back in line. Well I was going to be nice...because she had kids with her...but then she starts cursing about me in Spanish...thinking I didn't know what she was saying. So...I had my VILLAIN moment...and told her. "You got out of line and haven't been in line this whole time, Go to the back" ...and our group headed on up to see the Evil Queen. I felt bad for her kids...but she thought that she could insult me in Spanish and get away with it...thinking I wouldn't understand her!!! She'd cut in all of the lines...and thought by just leaving her stroller that would be okay. I was going to be nice...but NOPE...not if you are going to call me those THING!!
So...yup...had a VILLAINS moment...that is why I am Maleficent people!!!
Well...we only got 1 Villain this time...like I said...they didn't leave them out long enough...and we really wanted to get Cruella too...but not by cheating the lines!!!
So...then we headed back to Adventureland.
We stopped back by the Fairies...and saw Vidia again...and finally Tink was there!
So...after we left there...who do we see?? Genie...so I stopped by for a smooch!!!
Then...we got in a long line...with a long wait.
While we were waiting...we went over...and had a good atmosphere pic taken.
He asked for Pirate faces...so he got them!
I think I'm gritting my teeth...and DH looks normal of course
Finally...we got to see him!!!
Jack Sparrow
So...we headed back over to Frontierland...trying to see if we could get in for the Seven Dwarves. The line there...WOW...not a way we could make it.
So by this time...I wanted to head out...there was only about an hour left and my back was killing me.
So DH and I headed up to the front of the park. Stopping to get some MNSSHP exclusive pins...for Passholders...on our way!
WH and PW...made a good stop!
Well...on our way back to the resort in the boat...they told us...that you could have seen the Princesses with their princes...if we'd went...so I was disappointed we missed them...but oh well...something to do next time.
Seven Dwarves and the Princesses with their Princes!!!

Great character pics! BTW -- That lady deserved to see your Villain side come out. Just rude and uncouth! We got our picture with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but missed out on the princesses with their princes, so we've go that on our must do list whenever we get to go back.
Sounds like you had fun at MNSSHP! I can't believe the nerve of stroller lady. If it were me, I would've just moved around her stroller in line so she lost her place in front of me right away!

Mickey's so happy to see me back, he can barely contain himself!
Well...I was hoping PW or WH would jump in and tell you about their morning...because DH and I were exhausted.
WE SLEPT IN and WH and PW headed off to Disney Hollywood Studios by themselves!!!
Poor things...from the Pics it looks like they had to put up with this stuff all by themselves
Minnie Mouse:
Phineas & Ferb....although PW said she was disappointed...NO PERRY!
I think she still looks excited she saw them
A little time with the little blue one himself: STITCH
WH had to taunt me that they rode TSMM a few times...knowing I just love that ride...but I was exhausted...so the extra sleep helped.
So...DH and I finally arose and texted with them. It seems they would meet us at Epcot.
So we headed out and caught the first available bus to Epcot.
As soon as we got to security...I was slightly concerned.
There was a huge line at Security.
But DH and I made it through easily and got our first Photopass pic of the day.
We were all hungry...so agreed to meet in Mexico for lunch. So DH and I headed that direction...well first problem.
The restuarant on the water was closed...so we moved to the Cantina de San Angel inside the temple.
YUMMY!!! Definitely recommend the Pineapple margarita here...I could have sipped on it all day...with reloads of the salted sides!!!
Well...after much debate at lunch...the crew talked me into it. DH had been working on me for months...could I brave that first time on this ONE ride!!!
If you haven't read my other trip reports...you need to know in advance that I am VERY prone to motion sickness.
I'd just eaten mexican food...and downed a PINEAPPPLE margarita so why not.
So what ride...what ride...could have me shaking in my boots...bet you'll never guess!!!
