It's going to be an "Incredible Summer" - Page 16 - PassPorter - A Community of Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and General Travel Forums
As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. Thank you aliceinwdw, Caldercup, MrsM, WillCAD, Fortissimo, GingerJ, HiddenMickey, CRCrazy, Eeyoresmom, disneyknut, disneydani, Cam22, chezp, WDWfan, Luvsun, KMB733, rescuesk, OhToodles!, Colexis Mom, lfredsbo, HiddenMickey, DrDolphin, DopeyGirl, duck addict, Disneybine, PixieMichele, Sandra Bostwick, Eeyore Tattoo, DyanKJ130, Suzy Q'Disney, LilMarcieMouse, AllisonG, Belle*, Chrissi, Brant, DawnDenise, Crystalloubear, Disneymom9092, FanOfMickey, Goofy4Goofy, GoofyMom, Home4us123, iamgrumpy, ilovedisney247, Jennifer2003, Jenny Pooh, KrisLuvsDisney, Ladyt, Laughaholic88, LauraBelle Hime, Lilianna, LizardCop, Loobyoxlip, lukeandbrooksmom, marisag, michnash, MickeyMAC, OffKilter_Lynn, PamelaK, Poor_Eeyore, ripkensnana, RobDVC, SHEANA1226, Shell of the South, snoozin, Statelady01, Tara O'Hara, tigger22, Tink and Co., Tinkerbelz, WDWJAMBA, wdwlovers, Wendyismyname, whoSEZ, WildforWD, and WvuGrrrl. You made the magic.
We want to personally thank Sara Varney, who coordinated our community for many years (among so many other things she did for us), and Cheryl Pendry, our Message Board Manager who helped train our Guides, and Ginger Jabour, who helped us with the PassPorter-specific forums and Live! Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:
We go on to the joy and through the tears
We go on to discover new frontiers
Moving on with the current of the years.
We go on
Moving forward now as one
Moving on with a spirit born to run
Ever on with each rising sun.
To a new day, we go on.
It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!
If you miss us, you can still find some of us online. Sara started a new blog at DisneyParkPrincess.com -- I strongly urge you to visit and get on her mailing list. She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. You can see and hear me in my craft show at https://www.youtube.com/c/jennifermaker . Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). And some of our most devoted community members started a forum of their own at Pixie Dust Lane and all are invited over.
So we encourage you to stay in touch with us and your fellow community members wherever works best for you!

So after Soarin we headed to WS and started in Mexico. We found Donald at the end of our Mexico City tour and then Abby wanted to do the Kidcot stops this year. Duffy is no longer part of it. Now, you get a ziploc bag designed to look like a suitcase. In every country, you get a postcard. On one side, it has a picture you can color in and on the other side is a fact about the country and a spot for a CM to write or draw something. I liked it and was glad Abby wanted to do it. From Mexico, we went to Norway. Abby didn't want to see the sisters or ride FEA so we just looked for the Kidcot location. Once we found it and had her postcard in the "suitcase" we went to China. We had a Photopass picture taken and after verifying where Mulan would be, we all split up. Kate and Lenny went inside the pavilion to keep cool. Abby went to find the Kidcot location and I went to where Mulan would be meeting. It was early enough I was first in line. After a few minutes Abby joined me and then a character handler came over. Once she was there, it didn't take long before the line grew. Mulan finally came out and Abby had her time with her. We then went inside the pavilion and since we had the time, we stayed to watch Reflections of China. Kate didn't want to see it so she went to Germany and the Karamelle Kuche.
As we headed to Germany for the next Kidcot location, we found Kate who had some carmel goodies with her. She shared some of her popcorn with us and something called butter cake. It was okay. After we used the restrooms and watched the trains, we went into the gift shops of Germany. I wandered around waiting for Abby while Lenny and Kate got to talking with one of the CM's. When everyone was done talking, postcard collecting and pin trading (Abby did a lot of this on vacation) we continued onto Italy. Here Lenny, Kate and I sat in the shade and sent Abby to the Kidcot location. Abby wanted to stay and watch Sergio, the Italian Juggler, but we had a little bit of time to wait so she went to the American Pavilion Kidcot location as well. When she came back we didn't have long to wait until Sergio came out. It was sad in a way. When he came out, music was playing and he was blowing his whistle and Abby was the only one there waiting to see him. More people did eventually stop to watch but for the first few minutes, there was hardly anyone. We enjoyed watching it and Abby wanted her picture with him at the end. With that checked off the list of new to us World Showcase experiences, we then went to Japan to check in for lunch. Abby at some point in time did the Kidcot location here but I don't remember if she did it while I was checking in or if she did it while we were waiting for Sergio.
It wasn't long before our pager went off and we headed upstairs in the elevator. We were taken to the podium where we were told it's communal seating (we already knew that) and then taken down the long hallway to the last room on the right. The other family that was being seated with us walked in front of us. While I pushed Lenny to the bathroom, Kate and Abby stayed behind and ordered our drinks. When we got back to the table, our orders were taken and we just sat there and talked. I knew we would have forks to use with our meal but I wanted to at least attempt to use the chopsticks even though I didn't have a clue how to. Kate asked the girl who got our drinks to tie them together for us so she did. The meal was good. We started off with salads and then the chef came out and started cooking everything else. Beef for Kate and Lenny, beef and chicken for me, chicken and shrimp for Abby. We also had noodles and white rice. The noodles were cooked on the grill with vegetables. The rice was brought out in bowls. We did enjoy the meal and we all ate everything. Being new flavors of food, I did not expect Abby to eat everything but she did. She also tried using the chopsticks and ate most of her meal with them. Lenny tried the chopsticks as well but also used his fork. I ate my entire meal with the chopsticks and surprised myself. Granted, they were tied together at the end making it easier to use but I didn't expect to be able to actually use them even that way.
Around 3:30 is when we left the restaurant. Kate wanted to do some window-shopping and then get a henna tattoo. Abby wanted to go to France and see the Serveur Amusant. We stopped in Morocco first to find the Kidcot location and the Jasmine meet and greet area. The two locations were close to each other and after trading a few pins as well, we made it to France. I give the guy who does the climbing a lot of credit. I'm sure he's had years of training and practice but still. To be that far off the ground? I was nervous watching him. I enjoyed the show but it's not something I would ever want to do.
When that was over, we went back to Morocco. There was still a little bit of time before the meet and greet started - about 30 minutes - so I was surprised to see a line was already forming. We were near the front of the line so I knew we would get in to see her. When it was finally Abby's turn to see Jasmine, they must have talked about the genie and the lamp as Jasmine had Abby rub the lamp to see what would happen. It began to smoke and it looked like something on the side was lighting up. it was a cool effect. From Jasmine, Abby wanted to get in line for Alice over in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately it was very dark and cloudy out. It was thundering too but the lightning was very far off in the distance. When we got to where Alice meets, we were told her line was already closed and she would come back only "weather permitting."
Kate wasn't with us at this point in time so after texting each other, Lenny and I stayed put to wait for her to join us again. Abby meanwhile wanted to do more of the Kidcot locations so I let her go. Expecting it to rain any minute, we did get the scooter console and the backpack covered while we waited. Then it dawned on me I let Abby go without her umbrella. Then, as the minutes went by and there was no Abby, I wondered where she had gone as I also let her go without her phone. I wasn't worried about her per se. I knew she was doing the Kidcot spots. I just didn't know why it was taking her so long and with the threat of rain, I wanted her to have her umbrella. We found Kate before we found Abby. When we finally did find Abby, she told us she had gone all the way to Canada to finish off her Kidcot postcards. If I had known that, we would have walked that way to find her as with the rain coming (it still hadn't started yet) we were trying to get to O'Canada anyway.
We made it to Canada without it raining too hard and when we were done visiting Martin Short's Canada, it wasn't raining at all. Abby wanted to go back to the UK to see if Alice had come back out and Kate was getting tired so she wanted to head to FW and Mouse Gear. We split up again going in opposite directions. Alice was not out - no surprise there - so Abby decided she wanted to go see the American Adventure. I like this attraction, I really do, but I just can't ever seem to watch the whole thing. When we left the theater, there was just enough time to park the scooter and get seats for the Guardians of the Galaxy show which Abby wanted to see again.
We enjoyed it once again and since it has been another long day, we were getting tired. All Abby wanted to do was ride Mexico one last time and then she wanted to leave the park. Kate meanwhile was still off in FW. She was people watching by now and thinking about leaving but decided to wait as it wouldn't take us all that long to get back to Future World. As we made our way to Mexico, Sergio was out again so Abby wanted to stop and watch it again. When is show was over we continued on to Mexico. I don't remember if Lenny rode this or not I tend to think he didn't.
We finally made it back to FW where Kate was sitting at the fountain by SSE still people watching. We all left the park together- it was about 7:55 p.m - and headed to the hotel. Kate was leaving the next day so she had to go to Guest Services to get her boarding passes. She then wanted to go to the food court for a snack. We were hungry so we went to the food court as well but for dinner. For as well as I did earlier in the week noting meals and taking pictures I did neither of those this night. I know Kate sat at the table with us while we ate and what we ate would have been a mystery but for her. Kate reminded me that Lenny had the seared chicken while both Abby and I had the cheeseburger and fries. Kate had a cookie - which thanks to her memory - she told me that Lenny ate half of. After we were done eating, we cleaned up and walked out of the food court together. Kate came up to the room for a few minutes and gave us some presents - some chopsticks that she bought for us (and I have actually used them here at home) and some Disney gummies (which didn't last long once opened). We had such fun with her I didn't want to see her go but she had to. We hugged and said goodbye to Kate. She left to go to her own room, Abby went to bed and shortly after, Lenny and I did too.
What a great day at Epcot! I’m so glad you enjoyed Texan Edo! I like to stop for Sergio as well. And I think we usually are the only ones at first too - because we read the times guide and know what time he’ll appear, but others just happen by and stop.
The security people at bag check are not consistent at all. We ended up deciding it was best to be ready - with all bags and even sunglass cases open. It really helped to speed up the process.
I'm all caught up again. You post faster than I can read. Lenny seems to have the worst luck. I' m glad that he figured out that he took a double dose of his meds. It could have been much more serious.
It was nice of Kate to come down and spend time with you guys. It looks like you had a lot of fun together.
I've eaten at the Plaza a couple of times and have had the club and fries. I have to agree that they're good but not that good.
Going to all the kidcot stations sounds like fun and Abby has post cards from each of the countries to remember her day.

Monday- I was still tired from the day before....and by the time we all got out of Canada, I was DONE! My feet were hurting...lol
Epcot is my favorite park and walking around World Showcase is a favorite also. My favorite country is France and I did stop to see an old friend in the Christin Dior- Ana and she was Quite surprised to see me! (actually once I got there her manager told me she was on break- so I waited.) I loved sharing my snacks, especially since I never had them and I like to know what others thought. I did buy a bag of Disney gummies and I never really tried them before- became addicted to them, lol. I really try to buy new snacks when I am at Disney, because I have the habit of eating the ones I like.
Once I left Darlene, Lenny, and Abby I went to Mouse Gear and did some shopping. Once I was done I sat outside undercover because it was still kind of gloomy and people watched. I waited but then I thought I would just take the bus back but then Darlene would text me that they were almost done, so I decided to wait...because I really liked being driven back to the resort in their car.
Once we got back to the resort- I went up to their room and made my goodbyes. I really didn't want to leave. I had a Blast! (I wish I had looked into staying another day, because my flight for the next day was delayed. I was suppose to leave at 4:15pm however it didn't take off until 10pm. The dang weather of rain from the North, was delaying it. So I was at the airport from 2pm to 10pm. I ate lunch prior to thinking I would be leaving at 4:15pm. After that 2 candy bars, lots of water, and some free snacks from American Airlines. I landed a little after 12am. Then my car battery was dead! The airport parking (SmartPark) was able to give me a jump, thank god! I left a light on inside the car. I stopped at a convenience store to get a sandwich, since I really didn't eat a dinner. I was in bed by 2:30am. That has NEVER happened to me, a delayed flight.)
But I hope to jump on Darlene, Lenny, and Abby's Disney Vacation again! I just have to wait for when they decide to go.....You all can jump onto my vacation too.....
Thank You Darlene! I had the BEST time! Thank You to Lenny, since he was the ONE that started that Crazy idea of me jumping onto your Vacation!

What a fun day! Glad you enjoyed Teppan Edo. I'm usually the only one in my family to use chopsticks, though my granddaughter is getting pretty good, she might the next time we go!

It was a great day and I'm glad we decided to try Teppan Edo. We enjoyed the meal there.
Security for us was pretty consistent up until the guy this day and the thing I think that ticked Lenny off the most is everything we take in is in clear bags. There is really no need to search - it's all there for everyone to see.

This year is going to go faster for posting than all my other years because for those I was still typing/editing/adding photos to days as I started posting. With the exception of the very last part (something Abby wants me to put in) my TR is all complete including my wrap up and final thoughts. It's okay if you can't keep up - it's here when you get the chance to read it.
No, Lenny didn't have a good start to the vacation this year but getting to sleep in Saturday definitely helped him. The double dose of the meds didn't help the situation any either and while it could have been much worse, I am so thankful it wasn't.
We really did have a blast with Kate. I was bummed out when she had to leave to go home. If I had known at the time she was thinking of extending her stay by a night, I would have been all over that convincing her to do it.

Yes, Abby was able to get all the Kidcot stations done and she had fun doing them. The GotG show was on the corny side but it was fun. It ended the beginning of September so the only way to see it now is to find a video online.

It was a fun day. I liked trying out the chopsticks and at the end of the night, Kate gave us some plastic reusable ones that I have used several times here at home. At times I still find them awkward but I keep trying.

Welcome to a trip with us Kate. If you don't come home tired, you just haven't done a trip like us. And Yes, Lenny is the one who originally made the comment "too bad we won't be seeing Kate this year" so whether he needs to take credit for it or be blamed for it, I'm not sure . You didn't jump - you said "what if" and I said "come on down."
It sucks how long your flight was delayed. I too wish you had mentioned adding another night. I would have helped convince you it was a good idea - although the lack of a ticket might have hindered things.
We're definitely going to have to do it again. We just have to see when we can go again but since we keep in touch outside the boards, you know you'll be one of the first to know when it happens.
Tuesday morning I was up at 5:30. I got Lenny up at 6 and Abby at 6:20. Today we were going to the Studios again and even though I would have loved to go in early like we did on our first day in the park, we didn't. We had an ADR at Cape May Café that we decided we wanted to keep instead. We would just take our chances with the lines and crowds later in the morning. We got to the Beach Club just about 7:30 and when I checked in for breakfast, I asked for a table close to both the buffet and the entrance. We didn't bring the scooter in with us and I didn't want to spend the time at concierge asking for a wheelchair - it took forever the last time I did this - so Lenny was walking and reaching his limit. When our pager went off, instead of going into the restaurant and turning left where the buffet was, we were shown into the room off to the right. I'm not sure what part of my request they didn't understand but this table wasn't close to either the entrance or the buffet. We ordered our drinks then Abby and I went up to the buffet. There aren't a ton of choices here but what they do have is really good. We all enjoyed what we had and we saw all four characters fairly quickly too. Daisy is new to the restaurant. She never used to be part of this meal. Donald and Goofy aren't new but their outfits were. When we were done with breakfast, the server brought out a mini cupcake for Lenny and had everyone who was in the room sing Happy Birthday to him. With smiles on our faces, we left the restaurant about 8:30.
By 9 we were in the park. We got a wheelchair and then hit the restrooms. As Abby and I waited for Lenny, I told her I was going to the Trolley Car Café to get Lenny an iced coffee and when he was done the two of them should meet me outside of it. This was by far the busiest Starbucks location I had experienced all week and I was probably in there a good 20 minutes. When I had Lenny's iced coffee, I met them outside and then we headed to Toy Story Land. Our first fastpass of the day was for Toy Story Mania. Before we got in line though, I sent Abby to go get a return time for Slinky. When she came back, we got in line. I do like this ride, it's a lot of fun so when we got back to the wheelchair loading area, I asked if we could go a second time since no one was waiting. The cast member said okay. The second time around was just as much fun as the first but having had enough with the spinning, Lenny was more than happy to get off the ride and move on to something else.
Abby likes the Guardians of the Galaxy movies so she wanted to go see Star Lord next. His line was posted at something like 50 minutes. Abby didn't want to wait that long but One Man's Dream was getting ready to start so Abby wanted it to go see it. I'm glad we got to see that instead of there being a movie preview in the theater. We used the bathroom next since we walked right by them and then we went to our next fastpass which was for Voyage of the Little Mermaid. We like this show so it was worth the second trip to it. From there, we went to the Launch Bay. We hadn't seen Chewie yet so we got in line to see him. The line seemed long for the 20 minutes posted. A cast member took care of that though. He came around and sang "if you're happy and you know it clap your hands". He got a lackluster response so he did it a second time but only louder. This time pretty much everyone paid attention and clapped. Since we did, he continued on by saying that since we had enough room to clap our hands we were leaving entirely too much space between people in the line and everyone needed to move up. I couldn't believe how far up in line we were able to move. We were in and out of this line in about 15 minutes. Abby had already seen Kylo Ren but she wanted to see him again. His line was posted at 15 minutes. We were in and out in 7. BB-8 was up next. I don't like how the line here is just orange lines painted on the floor. People didn't seem to know where to go or stand even though the cast member clearly explained how it worked. Just like Chewie, this line was posted at a 20 minute wait and we were in and out in 14 minutes. Having good luck with the meet-and-greets, Abby wanted to go back for Star Lord. His wait was now down to 40 minutes but Abby chose to get in line this time. The line here was the same as BB-8, just lines painted onto the floor. Just like at Chewie's line though, people were spread out making the lines seem longer. Very long actually. The 40-minute wait posted when we got in line was in reality only an 18 minute wait for us. We got in line at 11:59 and we were done at 12:17.
After seeing Star-Lord, we went back to Toy Story Land. Being in the middle of the day, it probably wasn't the smartest time to go but we did anyway. We use our Slinky return time and as soon as we got off the ride, we got another one. While we waited for the new window to open, Abby and I looked at Alien Swirling Saucers. The wait was posted at 50 minutes and Abby didn't want to get in line. She was happy with the ride we had on our previous DHS day. We then got in line to see Woody and Jessie. It was so hot, Lenny decided not to wait with us. He went back to OMD to stay where it was cool. Abby and I got in line about 1 and it took about 45 minutes to see them. It wouldn't have been too bad but people didn't want to share the shade of the umbrellas and it was hot out. I eventually texted Lenny to bring us some water, which he did. He also told us to take our umbrella too so we could have our own shade. We did and it helped some but it was really hot out. Woody and Jessie left four or five times while we were waiting which I know didn't help the wait time any. We finally had our turn with them and despite the previous 45 minutes of waiting in the heat, Abby now wanted to get in line to see Buzz instead of waiting to see him in the Magic Kingdom the next day. I can't really blame her. Sometimes you have to get in line when you see a character instead of taking the chance that they might be somewhere else at another time.
The line for Buzz was much shorter. It only took 20 minutes for us to see him. Lenny was still off where it was cool so we left him there to go use our Slinky return time as he didn't want to ride it. I still like the coaster. It's a lot of fun. On our way back to Lenny, we stopped at Toy Story Mania for another return time. I was surprised Abby didn't want another one for Slinky but we have fun with Toy Story Mania too so there was no wrong choice when it came to the two rides. Having baked in the sun for as long as we did, we were glad for our next fastpass for Disney Junior. The line is mostly covered, it has those big fans, and it leads to a large air-conditioned theater. What's not to like about it? Once we got inside, we still had a few minutes to wait so I used the time to use mobile ordering for dinner. The quick-service options in this park are limited so we planned on going to the Backlot Express again. I know I fell asleep during the show again but it can't be helped. At least I know I can find it online if I want to see it.
From Disney Junior, we headed towards Backlot Express. March of the First Order was getting ready to take place so we stopped to wait for it.
When we got to that area of the park Star Tours was listed as only a 10-minute wait. Lenny didn't feel up to riding so I went through the line with Abby. At one point in time, a kid tried rushing past us and I asked him where he was going. He said to meet his father. I then asked "how many of you are trying to go find this father?" The minute he said five people, I said "well since there are five of you and one of him, he should come back and find you instead" and I didn't let them by. We continued through the line and while I didn't understand what they were saying - they were now talking in a foreign language - I'm sure they were quite unhappy with me. Too bad. If it had just been the kid, I would have let him by but he was with his mother and three other older people (no little kids in other words). I stood my ground and don't feel guilty about it. A couple of minutes later, I heard the kid talking and he sounded upset which up until then he hadn't been. He was talking to someone on the phone and as we continued up the ramp, I noticed in a little section of the queue that gets wider, someone on his phone looking all around. He was talking to the kid behind me. At that point in time I let them all go. Is anyone surprised I didn't get a thank you? I'm not but I didn't expect one either. Especially since they didn't get to walk by a whole bunch of people and avoid waiting like the rest of us. They ended up only three families in front of us.
When Abby and I got to the front of the line, she was told which area she was to stand in and I was told where the exit hall was. I didn't wait inside for her though. I went back outside to wait with Lenny. We've been on Star Tours enough Abby knew where to go and she knew where Lenny and I would be waiting for her. Abby was very happy when she came out and was ready to go to dinner. We ended up at the same table in the restaurant as the week before and as Lenny plugged in the scooter, I tried to use the app to let them know I was there. It didn't work so after several minutes of trying with nothing happening - no amount of exiting the app and going back in helped - I just took my device to the counter. I showed the cast member what was happening and she was able to manually finish the order on her end for me. I went back to the table with our food and we ate our dinner(whatever it was - I didn't take any pictures) and when it was all gone, the app still wouldn't do anything. I finally turned the device itself off then on again and when I went back into MDE the order finally disappeared as being picked up. From Backlot Express, Abby wanted to go see MuppetVision. We got in line with only two minutes to showtime! I actually stayed awake during it this time too.
When we left MuppetVision, it seemed like it was very close to raining so when we got over to what used to be the Streets of America (the new name of it escapes me now) I had Lenny pull under one of the awnings to cover the scooter console with a plastic bag. We had no sooner stepped out from under it and it started to rain so we stopped under the next awning to get out the umbrella for Abby and the raincoat for me. When we were done with those, it started pouring. We were prepared so we headed to the Hyperion Theater. We had no crowds to deal with so it didn't take long. It was about 10 minutes early but we could use our fastpass to get into the pre-show area for Frozen. The Fastpass we got back at Disney Junior after using that one. While we waited, I used the time to call home to mom. I talked to her until we were let into the theater and we sat in the back row where we like to. This was a better show than the other one we had seen this year. It still didn't have the "Eric" that we like but this one was funny so the show was enjoyable. When it was over, it was around 7 p.m. and Abby had done pretty much everything she wanted to. We still had a return time for Toy Story Mania so she wanted to make that our last attraction of the night. Just like earlier in the day, we went around once on the ride and when we got back, no one was waiting so we were allowed to go around a second time. It was a nice way to end the day at the park.
We were back at the hotel by 8:30 so Lenny and Abby went swimming while I did my organizing. I also tried to get some rest. Instead of the bottom of my feet hurting from all the walking and standing, the top of my foot was really hurting. While I sat in the room resting my foot and waiting for Lenny and Abby to come back, I started thinking about our Be Our Guest breakfast for the next day. I had it scheduled for 8 a.m. and remembering the fiasco in trying to get to the Magic Kingdom for our Crystal Palace breakfast, I looked into changing the time. I was surprised there were times open - one at 8:25 and one at 9:05. Around 10 Abby came back to the room and Lenny came back a few minutes later. He brought Mickey bars with him as a treat. As we ate the ice creams, I talked it over with Lenny about my idea to change the time for our breakfast and he agreed with me. Since I could change the time I should do it. The 8:25 was still available so I took it. The time was still before park opening and it gave us a little bit of extra time to not feel so rushed. Not long after the Mickey Bars were eaten and our Be Our Guest time was changed, we were all in bed for the night.
