As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. We want to personally thank Sara Varney, who coordinated our community for many years (among so many other things she did for us), and Cheryl Pendry, our Message Board Manager who helped train our Guides, and Ginger Jabour, who helped us with the PassPorter-specific forums and Live! Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:

It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!

She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). And how GROSS is Christine??? The woman is married and the way she is with Cody is just nasty. My BFF watches all the After Dark and stuff and she had mentioned something about Christine before, but I didn't want to share it here since it hadn't been shown yet. Now though, it sure has. I bet her husband is really upset, strategy or not.
Yes, I knew about Christine and I found her behavior very strange. I'm glad the BB decided to show all that. I feel bad for her husband.
I think it's so funny that Donnie was the #1 target and these people, instead of backdooring him (which they easily could have done), made the EXACT same mistake they made last week. Apparently they never learn.

This game makes me feel insane. Now I feel sorry for Zach, who a few weeks ago I wanted out of the house SO badly. Geez. I know a lot of people like Derrick, but I think Frankie would have been MUCH better off putting Derrick up against Cody if he wanted to make a big, worthwhile move. Those two are too strong, and if they don't realize that Derrick is controlling everything soon, he will win the game. Frankie even sat there with Zach and talked about how Derrick would beat anyone in the final two. HELLO???? Then get him out while you can! Good grief. I think logic leaves these people as soon as they step over the threshold of that house.

I completely agree with you Ashli. Though....I am still rooting for Derrick to win, so I am glad they are stupid.
I am kind of hoping that Donny hooks up with Zach. I honestly think Zach had no idea that he isn't "really" in that alliance. On the same note, Donny does know about Derrick...so, if he ends up HoH...... I really wish that Donny and Derrick would align, seeing them as final 2 and then may the best man win would be my best scenario. I also think that Donny is the only one who has a chance against Derrick in final 2.
I am just hoping it's not Cody this week. If he is voted out, I would love to see him come back. However, if Zach is voted out....I want him to come back and take everyone down! LOL!

Unfortunately I don't think it would do much good at this point for Donny to hook up with Zach, because I think he's on his way out. I would like to see Hayden or Nicole back, but I wouldn't really mind Zach either if he is the one that gets kicked out tonight. I am just afraid that the bomb squad or detonators or whatever they are calling themselves these days will just turn right around and kick back out whoever comes back in unfortunately. They have the numbers so at this point they can do whatever.
**I really do hope Donny gets HoH this week so one of the alliance will be sent packing. I'm sure Donny wouldn't waste his noms on Victoria.
I about died when Kathy Griffin told Victoria she was only allowed to make fun of people who were playing the game!!! HAHAHAHA!!!! And of course...she didn't get it.

That's why Derrick wants Donny out. First, Donny is the only person in the house who has him figured out. And second, if Donny and Derrick are F2, Donny might win. Derrick will not risk that.
I'm crossing my fingers that it's indeed Zach who's evicted and comes back. And even better, if he's the one who wins HOH. Only he and Donny are willing to take a shot at the BS/Detonators. I'm pretty sure the HOH comp will be some kind of endurance and we all know Donny doesn't have a chance at winning one of those.
I really want a shake-up in this game. I tired of this snooze fest, with the huge alliance dominating the game. It's time for one of them to get sent packing. It's been too easy for them, they've become too comfortable.

I love BB!! I am so glad Nicole is back. I am hoping her, Donny and Victoria (yuck) win and put their voting to good use and get Cody or Derrick out. I like Derrick but, he is good at the game. I am rooting for Donny or Nicol to win.

There is absolutely no chance that Victoria would put Derrick up, and most likely she would just nominate whoever he told her to (aka Donny). She is obsessed with Derrick; he is definitely her closest ally in the house. I agree though, they definitely need to get him out sooner instead of later.

I was hoping that Zach would get back in the house. He did liven things up. Did you see the look on his face when Victoria showed him the cut up hat? I understand why she took it back; I didn't understand why she destroyed it. I mean, it was her hat.

And she thought she was such a bad... for doing it. Like it was her biggest accomplishment in the game. Umm, it's the only thing she's done and it's not even game related.
I know Zach was kind of rude and obnoxious but I loved him. I think he's a really good guy with a big heart. He was deeply hurt by Frankie's betrayal.
