As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:

It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!

She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). I am very fond of AK but ot each their own. We have done disney in 4 days, one day for each of the parks. For 2 adults going all day every day we did it but we were EXHAUSTED. No little ones to try to pull along with us. I think what time of year you plan to go and where you play to stay will play a part in what you can do, we were in the value season staying on property so we had small crowds and extra hours.
It definately sounds doable. If you did want to consider throwing AK in there make AK the morning of day 3 and MGM the afternoon into evening of Day 3.
It looks and sounds good to me We'll bein the parks for 10 days and we're not doing Animal Kingdom, either. If you're going on a short trip I agree on skipping it, there's just not much to do!
My opinion is to do AK and MGM on the same day. Both can easily be fit, and MGM is easily doable in a half of a day. Just go to AK early, and around 1 PM go to MGM.
It sounds doable. Do you have young children with you, for two days at the MK? Do you plan on doing all of Epcot- if you do I would do 1 full day MK and then 1/2 day, morning MK with the other 1/2 ( evening) at Epcot and then another full day at Epcot. Epcot is huge, and that is the park that wears us out! Good luck and have fun.
Oooh, I agree with Molly Are you travelling with kids? If not, I would do a day and a half at both Magic Kingdom and Epcot. The half day at the Magic Kingdom would be in the morning, and the half day at Epcot would be that night to explore the World Showcase. What a good idea!!
Then I think Molly's suggestion is a good one. Epcot is a MUCH bigger park than you think. I'd do the second morning at MK and then the afternoon/evening at Epcot in the World Showcase. WS doesn't open until 11 anyway. You can probably get about half to three quarters of it covered. Then on your Epcot full day, do as many of the thrill rides as you plan to do as early as possible. Then you can pick up the rest of the World Showcase and finish Future world in the evening. Keep in mind that you can REALLY get worn out with 4 straight days of touring unless you take some rests
Oh, and with MGM, keep in mind that a lot of what you do there are shows that are only scheduled at certain times. So you probably want to see that schedule ahead of your trip. You can check out the show times at Steve Soares site . Good luck.
I would say 2 days for Epcot. We only missed a few things in one day at MK, but we did a whole day and an evening at Epcot, and there's lots of stuff we never even walked past! It is huge! If I had 4 days, I'd do one day in each park, but that's just me!
