As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. Thank you aliceinwdw, Caldercup, MrsM, WillCAD, Fortissimo, GingerJ, HiddenMickey, CRCrazy, Eeyoresmom, disneyknut, disneydani, Cam22, chezp, WDWfan, Luvsun, KMB733, rescuesk, OhToodles!, Colexis Mom, lfredsbo, HiddenMickey, DrDolphin, DopeyGirl, duck addict, Disneybine, PixieMichele, Sandra Bostwick, Eeyore Tattoo, DyanKJ130, Suzy Q'Disney, LilMarcieMouse, AllisonG, Belle*, Chrissi, Brant, DawnDenise, Crystalloubear, Disneymom9092, FanOfMickey, Goofy4Goofy, GoofyMom, Home4us123, iamgrumpy, ilovedisney247, Jennifer2003, Jenny Pooh, KrisLuvsDisney, Ladyt, Laughaholic88, LauraBelle Hime, Lilianna, LizardCop, Loobyoxlip, lukeandbrooksmom, marisag, michnash, MickeyMAC, OffKilter_Lynn, PamelaK, Poor_Eeyore, ripkensnana, RobDVC, SHEANA1226, Shell of the South, snoozin, Statelady01, Tara O'Hara, tigger22, Tink and Co., Tinkerbelz, WDWJAMBA, wdwlovers, Wendyismyname, whoSEZ, WildforWD, and WvuGrrrl. You made the magic.
We want to personally thank Sara Varney, who coordinated our community for many years (among so many other things she did for us), and Cheryl Pendry, our Message Board Manager who helped train our Guides, and Ginger Jabour, who helped us with the PassPorter-specific forums and Live! Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:
We go on to the joy and through the tears
We go on to discover new frontiers
Moving on with the current of the years.
We go on
Moving forward now as one
Moving on with a spirit born to run
Ever on with each rising sun.
To a new day, we go on.
It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!
If you miss us, you can still find some of us online. Sara started a new blog at DisneyParkPrincess.com -- I strongly urge you to visit and get on her mailing list. She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. You can see and hear me in my craft show at https://www.youtube.com/c/jennifermaker . Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). And some of our most devoted community members started a forum of their own at Pixie Dust Lane and all are invited over.
So we encourage you to stay in touch with us and your fellow community members wherever works best for you!

Sounds like you had a good day overall. Were they little girls in thongs. I recently learned you could get thong panties in little girl sizes and I assume that there are parents out there who buy them.
My cell is often out of a service area in parts of the parks, especially if we are in a building in a closed area. I have also found with all the background noise, it is hard to hear it when it rings.
What a great day you had!! I am so glad that both Lenny and Abby seemed to have left the "grumpies" in the hotel for the day. The scooter problem seems like a minor inconvienence instead of a day "ruiner." Oh, and I think the thong issue is really sad. It is Disney, a family destination, and it would be nice if people would keep it "G" or "PG" rated!
Got to the Disney Magic!!! It's funny that Abby has a bucket list and yes, I pictured her doing the big check mark! Sorry about the inappropriate bathing suits.
Abby's bucket list comment is hilarious!! And I would have complained about the swimsuits also.... Having a swim wear dress code is perfectly reasonable; several places have them and Disney should as well....

It sounds like you experienced some great Disney magic!!!

I'm finally all caught up. You would think being home all day I'd be able to stay up to date on trip reports, but I don't
So, where to start....I know how it is to be on vacation with a Debbie Downer. My last 3 trips to Disney I've taken with my grandmother and she can get cranky. And last year, I went to Las Vegas with one of my friends and she got pretty witchy too. However, with her I found if you fed her or got her an adult beverage, she would be ok. Sorry Lenny was cranky to begin with, but I'm so happy he turned it around and had a great day.
I'm glad Walker Mobility came through for you. And it's too funny about Abby and the bucket list. I love it!
Count me in as someone who thinks that thong bathing suits on little girls are inappropriate. Seriously? Like, yes, that may be the norm in their country, but not here. I know in other countries people of all ages have wine with dinner. Do you really think that would fly here? No, it's a vacation, deal with it. And obviously it's making other guests uncomfortable, so I think Disney needs to find a way to put a stop to it.
Anyway, sounds good so far, can't wait for more!!!
I'm still over Abby's "bucket list"! I hope all the things on her list are as easy to accomplish as a high five from a tumble monkey! She's too much. Definitely Disney magic to get the completed pin set all from trades and definitely NOT Disney magic to be surrounded by the inappropriate kids at the pool.
Thanks. I'm glad you got a laugh out of it. I still laugh when I think of Abby and her bucket list. As to things on it, I only know of the one thing - not dying . I'm sure as Abby thinks of other things, I'll find out. And I agree about the Disney magic for the pins and the lack of it at the pool

Can't wait to read more!
It was a great day - and IMO a much needed one. I don't think I could have taken another day of Grumpy hanging around. Abby's the same way - she saw a Wipeout DS game and my mother bought it for her. She doesn't play it much but she has it . Not to be sarcastic but I hope we got a lot done in AK. We had breakfast at 8:15, we were back in the park by 9:05 and according to the time stamp on the picture I took as we were leaving, it was 8:05 pm. And with that time frame, even if it works out to we didn't get much done, we did what we wanted to and that's all that matters in the end.

Later when talking to a lifeguard he said they could not say anything about bathing suit bottoms but they were allowed to tell them that the needed to have tops on.
I think I'd rather the chunky middle aged woman instead of the 15 year old being followed by someone. And I can't believe kids without tops. One thing is for sure, after this trip we may go back to our August time frome that we like. If we do, then it should be safe to go back in the water .

I love the pin story. I do believe it is Disney Magic!
I also laughed, laughed, laughed at your crazy face icon that you gave Lenny for thinking ITTBAB is educational. Too funny. You crack me up!
As for the lack of swim suits at the pool...I am in 100% agreeance with that. I don't want to see it and I don't want my girls to see that! That should not be allowed at a place that is marketed to be family friendly! If that makes me a prude that so be it. Good for you all to speak up. Waiting to see what the next day has in store for you all!
Thanks. Getting the replacement scooter was so easy - other than the fact my phone didn't work. . Walker definitely is Customer Service driven and they do give it so based on our experiences, I would HIGHLY recommend them for sccoter and wheelchair rentals.. Abby is funny with her bucket list but AFAIK, right now there's nothing else on it - and I don't have one either if it makes you feel any better. I love Lenny, don't get me wrong but sometimes he does have strange ideas and saying ITTBAB is educational?? I'd like to say the jury is still out on that one but with the face you saw, you can tell what the jury thinks

Thanks Jodi, we did have a great day there - and the Disney magic just kind of topped it off.

I appreciated it so much. Disney Magic! It looks like you received a bunch of Disney Magic that day. Except for the child wearing the thong, just ridiculous! Looking forward to your next update.
Thanks. It was a great day for Disney Magic - even with the scooter if you want to consider that magical (which I suppose you could in a way). I'll post more later today so keep checking back.

Sorry that the CM's all seemed to be passing the buck at the pool that evening. I would have been offended also and I'm glad that you all said something (even if nothing seemed to happen). Maybe they will take note if they get enough complaints and change their policy concerning swimwear.
Glad you got a smile from Abby - that was too cute not to include in the TR. As for the behavior at the pool, I did send an email and I included my complaint in the survey Disney wanted me to take. The response I got to my email said that there are dress codes in place for all the parks and resorts and that the people who need to know will hear of my complaint. Will it really happen and will it change anything? I have no idea but I feel better having told them about it.

Thanks Rachel. I'm glad you enjoy my TR. We too were happy about the pins and not happy about the swimwear, but as I said above, I did let Disney know about it for whatever it's worth.

And that is completely magical that she managed to get that entire pin set! I'm so happy that she is enjoying the pin trading and hope that the pins we sent helped her get off to a good start.
I'm sorry about the bathing suit issue. I would have been unhappy as well.
We did have a great day - and I'm glad you're laughing about Abby. I still do when I think about it. Thank you again so much for the pins you sent. Between what she kept and what she traded with and for, she's very happy with the pins and enjoyed pin trading. At some point in time during the vacation (it might have been that night on the way out) she told me that I have to get her LOTS more so you can trade the next time we go to Disney
Another great update. Looking forward to the next installment. Sorry about the bathing suit incidents
Thanks. I'm glad you still enjoy it. I'll post more later today.

We did have a good one. As for the kids, no they weren't little girls. They were teenagers (maybe 14 or 15) but definitely under 18. I'm not sure what happened to my phone, it just didn't ring nor did it tell me I missed calls. And right before the guy showed up, it did ring but it was a voice message ring.

Thanks Kim. Abby wasn't bad with the grumpies with the exception of Wednesday night but that was entirely understandable. Lenny on the other hand wasn't at any time. The scooter for Abby could have been a "ruiner" but it was so minor it wasn't even funny. It was time to head to lunch anyways so who cares that it wasn't working correctly. As for the thongs, that's my point entirely - it's a family destination but the people in the other thread I had just kept ignoring that point.

Disney should be the first one to have a dress code. As I told them in my email "I don't think Walt Disney himself would want people leaving his parks and resorts with memories of bare behinds in their minds". Hopefully the comment hit it's mark

You've been too busy baking and cleaning, that's why . It does help to know that we all go through a vacation (or more) with someone in a mood. I just wish it didn't happen at all (to anyone). Walker really is serious when it comes to customer service and boy do they ever. From the first call to the last call, they really were wonderful and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them. As I said above, the thongs weren't even on little kids - they were on teenagers which made it more inappropriate IMO. I think Disney needs to stop it too but who knows if they will or not. When we go back, despite the later park hours and all the rides being open, Lenny said he wants to go back to our normal August vacation instead of going in July again with the BTG.
I'll post more later to give you a heads up. Maybe you'll be able to pull yourself away from your baking and cleaning to come back

Sunday we had another early morning ADR. This time it was at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club resort. I was up at 6. I woke Lenny up at 6:30 and Abby at 7:15. We all got ready and we left the hotel about 8. It didn’t take us long to get to the Beach Club and we valeted the car. Lenny at least remembered to leave the key fob this time . We headed inside and there were quite a few people ahead of us to check in but I soon learned it was one large group and we were next. I checked us in, got our pager and it went off as soon as Abby and Lenny sat down.
We were shown to our table and in no time our server, Colin, was there asking if anyone would like coffee. Lenny said "yes, and lots of it." Colin immediately asked "would you like an IV for it?" Lenny laughed and said "no, I gave that up years ago." Colin then took the rest of our drink order and let me know the chef would come out to see me. We thanked him and he went off to get our drinks. The Chef came to our table and either Lenny was off getting food or he kept his mouth shut this morning - I’m not sure which - and the chef pretty much told me there wasn’t much of anything I could eat on the buffet . The breakfast potatoes were made with oil and covered in citric acid to keep them white, the eggs were made with whole sticks of butter and things like bacon and sausages I just have to keep away from no matter how they’re cooked. I know they had more on the line than that but like I said, I couldn’t eat any of it. The Chef asked if I liked scrambled eggs and when I said I did, he told me he’d make me some plain scrambled eggs. He then asked if I would like to try some gluten free Mickey Waffles. I could have had the regular ones off the line but I don’t think he wanted to give me a plate with only eggs on it so I agreed to try them. I thanked him for his time and he went off to make my breakfast. Again, I don’t really have any idea of what Lenny and Abby ate but I know their plates were taken away clean. My eggs were good as were the Mickey waffles and with the bowl of yogurt with granola I got off the buffet line, my breakfast was pretty filling. It might not have been the most glamorous of meals but I could eat it without getting sick and that’s what was important to me. And then at this meal we had the characters: Goofy, Minnie and Donald in beach wear. We saw Goofy twice and he was his usual silly self doing a magic trick the second time we saw him. He picked up Abby’s napkin off the table, balled it up, pointed elsewhere in the room and made the napkin disappear by throwing it over his shoulder. It landed on the chair at the table behind him and we were all laughing about it . Then he grabbed the folded napkin from that same table and shoved it on ours like he magically folded it. Abby caught on though and found the missing napkin and put each napkin where it was suppose to go.
We also saw Minnie twice and she seemed to enjoy seeing herself on Abby’s shirt - especially when we told her that she’s Abby’s favorite and we saw her the day before at the AK and we would see her again that night at CM’s.
Donald we only saw once and it actually took almost the entire meal to see him.
That’s not a complaint though . Our ADR was originally for 8:35 am but we were seated more than 20 minutes early - and in that 20 minutes is when we saw Goofy and Minnie the first time. The second time was after we had seen Donald and literally within 10 minutes we saw all 3 characters. Overall, I was very happy with this meal and because I didn’t know what to expect, I allotted a lot more time for the meal than we needed in reality. We were out of there by 10 after 9 and at the DHS about 5 minutes later. I didn’t think we’d get there until well after 10 am so the morning went really, really well. We had a good breakfast and were way ahead of schedule .
Once Lenny was done with the scooter, we headed into the park and had a few Photopass photos taken, then we stopped for a couple new pennies we knew about underneath the Sorcerer’s hat and then we headed to the GMR. Abby had originally asked for TSM but because I knew she likes this one as well, I told her that we should ride because we were there instead of walking by and then coming back. She agreed so off we went - and quickly because we saw a BTG coming . We got in line before them but I was surprised to see the line was outside. I was starting to regret my decision thinking we’d be in line for a lot longer than Abby can handle but the line moved fairly quickly. It was only to outside because they didn’t have the queue wrapping around as much as they sometimes do - it was a pretty straight shot to inside - and this morning they had 2 ride vehicles running at one time. On one hand that was good because we weren’t there long but on the other it wasn’t good because when we got to the Wizard of Oz scene, we were the second vehicle (and we were sitting in the very last row) and some of the "scene" had already taken place by the time we pulled in. The Wicked Witch of the West was already coming up in her cloud of smoke and I could barely hear her dialog. I could hear our "guide" just fine but it just didn’t go good with the witch being so far away and hard to hear and the guide being up close and personal. Other than that one disappointment in the ride, the rest of it was fine.
It’s not the best but Lenny’s picture shows the Alien coming out of the wall instead of coming down from the ceiling
From GMR, somehow we ended up going to Star Tours. I really don’t know how or why but I know Lenny said he wanted to try it. Abby was hesitant trying to say the ride would make her sick but when I pointed out it was like MOM (the Motion Odyssey Movie at Jordan’s Furniture here in MA) - which she likes - she was willing to give it a try. We got there and Lenny had to transfer from his scooter to a wheelchair because we went with the assumption he’d never make it through the line. It’s a good thing we did because to get to the ride vehicle you have to go up a ramp and he would have had difficulty walking up it. We both felt bad for the guy in front of us who opted not to go with a chair as he had difficulty and it took him a few minutes to get up the ramp himself - Lenny would have been just as bad.
We finally got to the lines for the actual ride vehicle and we didn’t have to wait too long to get onboard. We ended up in the first row and all strapped in and the ride started. In the sequence we got, we landed someplace where there was snow and we fell over the cliff and at that point in time, I had to take off the 3D glasses and stare at the floor for the rest of the ride . I had been able to ride Star Tours years ago without any problems but apparently that’s no longer the case. There are at least 3 rides now that I know of for a fact I cannot ride at Disney - Mission Space, ToT (it made me really, really dizzy the last time I rode on it in 2006 so I don’t think being 5 years older it would get any better for me) and now Star Tours. Oh well, thankfully there’s plenty of other things for me to ride.
After Lenny got back on the scooter and the wheelchair was returned, we headed to our next destination - MuppetVision.
I still don’t like the show and only do it for Abby so I sat there and closed my eyes during it. I think I might have actually snoozed too . From MuppetVision, we finally made it to the part of the park we all enjoy - Pixar Place. We rode TSM and we all had a good time. I ended up winning out of the three of us and Abby wasn’t thrilled with it but she didn’t let it bother her (too much). And then we fell into last year’s routine of constant back and fourth in that section of the park. From TSM we headed to the Back Lot Tour - which had next to no line. And when we got to the special effects portion, they just talked about them, there were no volunteers that day which I found really odd . What can I say about the tour? I’m probably going to say the same exact thing from last year - I didn’t like it. It’s no fun anymore . Residential Street is gone, the whole thing is a recorded narration, there’s no "stumbling" upon Catastrophe Canyon as you know right up front something is going to happen. So in other words for me, a waste of time . Abby seems to like it so I do it for her. From BLT we headed back to Pixar Place and stopped for some drinks and a popcorn bucket as we wanted a snack before heading into VOLM. We really lucked out here as we were allowed right in and through the "holding pen" right into the theater. This time, instead of having all 3 of us sit in the back row, they directed Lenny to the back row and had Abby and I sit in front of him. For us this was different. The seats in the very back where we’ve normally sat never had any special effects coming down on us so I had no clue that a couple of times during the show, there’s a mist coming down on you. We got it this time and between that and the "wind" that came up I actually got chilled but with how hot it had been all day (and all the days up until Sunday) it felt really good too in a way.
After Ariel, we headed back to One Man’s Dream and looked around in there until it was time for the movie.
Abby didn’t want to see it but I told her it was time for a Daddy’s choice attraction and he wanted the movie so she settled right down and willingly went in to see it. And I actually stayed awake during it too. The last time we came in here to see it, I was so pooped I zonked right out and missed the whole show. I enjoyed it but unfortunately I don’t remember a lot of what it showed. From there, we headed to TSM again and this time Abby rode with Lenny hoping she’d beat him.
We enjoyed it just as much as the first time and even though Lenny says he got the highest score, I’m pretty sure it was me (again). Abby wasn’t happy that she lost again but to prevent any kind of meltdown, I told her we’d get back to the ride again that day and I bet the third time she’d be the winner. She actually accepted that then announced that she wanted to ride Star Tours again. That kind of blew my mind . She didn’t want to go on it the first time around and here she was saying she wanted to go on it a second time. Lenny was game but I had absolutely no intention of getting on it so I told Abby. She looked upset at first but I told her it was perfectly okay to go on the ride without me. I also told her all of us would go through the line together but when it came time to get on the ride, I would walk on with them but continue out the other side and meet them there. She seemed fine with that so we headed past TSM once again and went to Star Tours. On the way there, Lenny mentioned he was hungry and I asked him if he really wanted to eat before getting on the ride. He changed his mind and said he would eat afterward. He then asked what was in the area. I pointed out the Studio Catering Company and since it’s open air and the menus are posted in a few spots, he looked at it real quick saying the sandwiches looked good. I also mentioned Pizza Planet but the pizza from the night before hadn’t sat right with me therefore I didn’t want any more pizza. And then I pointed to the Backlot Express as we got closer to Star Tours. We didn’t know what they had so we decided after the ride, we’d head back to the Studio Catering Company. And it would actually serve 2 purposes. After Star Tours, Abby wanted the HISTK play area so she and I could go there while Lenny had a bite to eat.
So at Star Tours, we once again got Lenny a wheelchair for the line and it didn’t take too long to get to the ride vehicles. I let the CM know that I would not be riding and that I would push the wheelchair through. And when the doors opened, all 3 of us went in, I told Lenny and Abby to have fun and I continued out the other side just like I told Abby I would do. I sat there and waited and when they came out from the ride, Lenny told me the movie this time was much different and the ride itself wasn’t nearly so bad. I didn’t know there were different movies but even if I had, I still wouldn’t have gone on because if one is going to make me sick, chances are all of them would have. After the ride , Lenny got on his scooter and I returned the wheelchair and we once again headed to the back area of the park. I reminded Abby that we were going to get daddy a bite to eat first then head to the play area and she said okay. Once there, they found a table and I got in line. Even though it was really late (around 3:30 ish) Abby and I weren’t really hungry so I got only one meal to split amongst the 3 of us. I got the turkey club sandwich with fries and 3 sodas. I got back to the table and I cut off a small portion of the sandwich for myself and took a few fries, Abby got the majority of the fries and Lenny got the majority of the sandwich with just a couple of fries. Abby picked at the fries but drank her soda while Lenny and I ate our portions but what surprised me the most at this meal was Abby didn’t try to rush off to HISTK as soon as I got back to the table. She was actually content to sit for a while despite saying she wasn’t hungry.
Once we were done eating and cleaned up, we went to the play area for Abby and I told her she could have a half an hour or so to play. She did play a little
but then she went up a flight of stairs and disappeared on me. I had no idea where she went to and even though I had my eye on both sets of stairs that she could have used, she didn’t use either one. After a couple of minutes, I went looking for her. It turns out she was "hiding" in one of the crawl areas and she had that wonderful timing that I think only kids have because when I got to the top of the stairs and looked in the crawl space, she was already gone. It took me a couple more minutes to find her because I was stopping and looking everywhere and when I found her, that’s when she told me about hiding. I love Abby dearly but I do not like that at 11, she thinks it’s cute to hide from me in public areas . There’s just too many places she can go and unfortunately at Disney, I have yet to see a CM stop a child from leaving either HISTK or the Boneyard without a parent. Next thing I know she’ll be walking out of them thinking it’s cute to hide someplace I would never look - namely outside the area. And while Lenny’s a help, he doesn’t always stop to think. If I ask him to stay near the exit and watch for Abby, something always gets his attention and he ends up going off somewhere else not thinking "I should stay put." And that of course means instead of looking for just Abby, I have to search for Lenny too. Needless to say, sometimes the play areas cause a lot of frustration for me and make me wish we didn’t enter it in the first place.
We finally headed out of HISTK and headed to - of all places - TSM again. As Abby walked ahead of us in line, I told Lenny to not try so hard on the game. Abby wasn’t happy that she had lost both times that day and I didn’t want to see what losing a third time would do to her. IMO, there was just no need of purposely asking for a meltdown to occur . We got on the ride and off we went. Of course I could be strange in saying this but even just watching Abby play this, it is a fun ride. I tried to play, don’t get me wrong, but because I was keeping my eyes on the scores, every so often I would stop playing for a minute or two and just watch Abby. So of course, Abby won the game and she was very happy and happily announced she wanted to leave the park. It was only about 5 and I was really surprised she wanted to leave but we had done everything we wanted to. We skipped all the shows except VOLM because Abby said she could watch them at home anytime and apparently she’d had enough of the rides. We had an ADR for Chef Mickey’s that night so we thought we might use leaving early to our advantage. I thought our ADR was at 7 and despite our snack, we were all getting hungry by that time so we were going to head right to the Contemporary and see if we could get in any earlier than that. Then Abby mentioned something about wanting to go swimming at the hotel. I looked at the clock and thought that there wasn’t enough time because in my head I had the plans of leaving wherever we were at 6 to go to dinner. That early time however included breaking down the scooter and getting it into the car. The scooter would already be there if we went to the hotel to swim so that meant we could leave about a half an hour later. So instead of going to the Contemporary, we went to AS Sports instead - and it’s a good thing too.
****For anyone who likes the smilieys I've been using, I just want to say I replaced one way back in my post number one. I had used a smiley peeking over a wall for my mother peeking through the partitions at the airport but I found a new one I really liked a lot more - and much better represented what I was saying.
