As of January 1, 2019, we have closed our forums. This is a decision we did not come to lightly, but it is necessary. The software our forums run on is just too out-of-date and it poses a significant security risk. The server software itself must be updated, and it cannot be without removing the forums.
So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-running forums. They came online in 2000 and brought together so many wonderful Disney fans. We had friendships form, careers launch, couples marry, children born ... all because of this amazing community.
Thank you to each of you who were a part of this community. You made it possible.
And a very special thank you to our Guides (moderators), past and present, who kept our forums a happy place to be. You are the glue that held everything together, and we are forever grateful to you. We want to personally thank Sara Varney, who coordinated our community for many years (among so many other things she did for us), and Cheryl Pendry, our Message Board Manager who helped train our Guides, and Ginger Jabour, who helped us with the PassPorter-specific forums and Live! Guides. Thank you for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. You made it all happen.
There are other changes as well.
Why? Well, the world has changed. And change with it, we must. The lyrics to "We Go On" for IllumiNations say it best:

It's time to move on and move forward.
PassPorter is a small business, and for many years it supported our family. But the world changed, print books took a backseat to the Internet, and for a long time now it has been unable to make ends meet. We've had to find new ways to support our family, which means new careers and less and less time available to devote to our first baby, PassPorter.
But eventually, we must move on and move forward. It is the right thing to do.
So we are retiring this newsletter, as we simply cannot keep up with it. Many thanks to Mouse Fan Travel who supported it all these years, to All Ears and MousePlanet who helped us with news, to our many article contributors, and -- most importantly -- to Sara Varney who edited our newsletter so wonderfully for years and years.
And we are no longer charging for the Live Guides. If you have a subscription, it's yours to keep for the lifetime of the Live Guides at no additional cost. The Live Guides will stay online, barring server issues and technical problems, for all of 2019.
That said, PassPorter is not going away. Most of the resources will remain online for as long as we can support them, and after that we will find ways to make whatever we can available. PassPorter means a great deal to us, and to many of you, and we will do our best to keep it alive in whatever way we can. Our server costs are high, and they'll need to come out of our pockets, so in the future you can expect some changes so we can bring those costs down.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing support over the years. Without you, there's no way us little guys could have made something like this happen and given the "big guys" a run for their money. PassPorter was consistently the #3 guidebook after the Unofficial and Official guides, which was really unheard of for such a small company to do. We ROCKED it thanks to you and your support and love!
If you miss us, you can still find some of us online. Sara started a new blog at DisneyParkPrincess.com -- I strongly urge you to visit and get on her mailing list. She IS the Disney park princess and knows Disney backward and forward. And I am blogging as well at JenniferMaker.com, which is a little craft blog I started a couple of years ago to make ends meet. You can see and hear me in my craft show at https://www.youtube.com/c/jennifermaker . Many PassPorter readers and fans are on Facebook, in groups they formed like the PassPorter Trip Reports and PassPorter Crafting Challenge (if you join, just let them know you read about it in the newsletter). And some of our most devoted community members started a forum of their own at Pixie Dust Lane and all are invited over.
So we encourage you to stay in touch with us and your fellow community members wherever works best for you!

What is the Subscriber Agreement? |
PASSPORTER'S CLUB SUBSCRIBER AGREEMENT
The PassPorter's Club Subscriber Agreement is a legal document that details your rights and obligations as a subscriber. You cannot acquire a subscription until you have accepted the terms of the Subscriber Agreement. The Subscriber Agreement provides very important information about your subscription, so you should take the time to read and understand it.
It may be necessary for MediaMarx, Inc. to update or revise certain provisions of the Subscriber Agreement. By ordering a subscription to the PassPorter's Club and accepting the Subscriber Agreement you agree that MediaMarx, Inc. may change the terms of this Subscriber Agreement. If MediaMarx, Inc. makes material changes or revisions to the Subscriber Agreement, we will provide notice to you thirty days in advance. Notification will be sent to the e-mail address that you provide for your account. It will be your responsibility to keep your e-mail address valid at all times. (You may change your e-mail address on your account by logging in with your original e-mail address, going to My Home and clicking the Edit Email and Password button.) If you don't agree to the changes proposed by MediaMarx, Inc., or to any of the terms in this Subscriber Agreement, your only remedy is to cancel your PassPorter's Club subscription.
1. Basics of Your PassPorter's Club Subscription
This Agreement is your entire agreement with MediaMarx, Inc. and governs your use of the PassPorter's Club online service. To access the PassPorter's Club service you must accept the terms of this Agreement. To be a subscriber of PassPorter's Club, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are not yet eighteen years old, you may still use PassPorter's Club, but only if the account was created and registered by your parent or guardian.
When you accept this Agreement and complete the PassPorter's Club subscription process, you become a subscriber of PassPorter's Club. Each subscription is to be used for one household. Illegal or improper use by someone to whom you have given permission to use your account puts your account at risk. So it is very important that you do not share your password with anyone. If your subscription is terminated for violating this Agreement, you will not be entitled to a refund. MediaMarx's express permission will be necessary before you are allowed to use PassPorter's Club again.
2. Charges and Billing
MediaMarx, Inc. reserves the right to change our fees or billing methods at any time and MediaMarx, Inc. will provide notice of any such change at least thirty days in advance in the same manner described above for changes to the Subscriber Agreement. Any notifications of changes will be sent to the email address that you provide for your account. So it will be your responsibility to keep your email address updated and valid at all times. MediaMarx, Inc. also has the right to collect applicable taxes and impose premium surcharges for some areas of the service. If you don't like the changes in fees or billing methods, you may cancel your subscription at any time, but MediaMarx, Inc. will not refund any remaining portion of the monthly fee when you cancel your subscription.
Once your account is activated into a subscription with the appropriate charge, it will be renewed automatically, unless you cancel before the next billing date. If you do not want to continue with your subscription, you must cancel BEFORE your next billing date. There will be no refunds for late cancellations, or cancellations that are made after the billing date.
To cancel, log in to your PayPal.com account and go to the "History" subtab of the "My Account" tab. Choose "Subscriptions" from the pull-down "Show" menu and press the "Submit" button. Choose this subscription, and click on its "Details" link. You will be taken to a Transaction Details page from which you may cancel your subscription. Cancelling your subscription will immediately stop all future scheduled payments for this subscription.
Proprietary Rights
Much of the content available on our service is owned by MediaMarx, Inc., and is protected by copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights. Any content that you upload or download while using the service must be authorized; this means you must have the legal right to upload or download the content. You must not copy, transmit, modify, distribute, show in public or in private or create any derivative works from any of the content you find on MediaMarx, Inc., unless you have the legal right to. Making unauthorized copies of any content found in the PassPorter's Club can lead to the termination of your PassPorter's Club account and may even subject you to further legal action beyond the termination of your subscription.
3. Termination and Cancellation
Either you or MediaMarx, Inc. may terminate or cancel your subscription at any time. You understand and agree that the cancellation of your subscription is your sole right and remedy with respect to any dispute with MediaMarx, Inc. This includes, but is not limited to, any dispute related to, or arising out of: (1) any term of this Agreement or MediaMarx's enforcement or application of this Agreement; (2) any policy or practice of MediaMarx, Inc. (3) the content available through PassPorter's Club (4) your ability to access and/or use PassPorter's Club; or (5) the amount or type of fees, surcharges, applicable taxes, billing methods, or any change to the fees, applicable taxes, surcharges or billing methods.
You can cancel your subscription through your PayPal.com account. Login and go to the "History" subtab of the "My Account" tab. Choose "Subscriptions" from the pull-down "Show" menu and press the "Submit" button. Choose this subscription, and click on its "Details" link. You will be taken to a Transaction Details page from which you may cancel your subscription. Cancelling your subscription will immediately stop all future scheduled payments for this subscription. If you do not have Internet access, you must send your cancellation request via US Mail to: MediaMarx, Inc., PO Box 3880, Ann Arbor, MI 48106. If you cancel online, your cancellation will be effective immediately. If you send your cancellation by US mail, the Cancellation will take effect within 72 hours of receipt of your request, or 10 days from your postmark, whichever is greater.
In the event that your account is terminated or cancelled, no refund, including any subscription fees, will be granted; no online time or other credits will be credited to you or can be converted to cash or other form of reimbursement. Active PassPorter's Club subscribers may not allow former subscribers or other agents whose subscriptions have been terminated to use their accounts.
4. Responsibilities, Law, and Legal Notice
MediaMarx, Inc. is not affiliated with, authorized or endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with The Walt Disney Company, Disney Enterprises, Inc., or any of their affiliates.
While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information in our travel guides, the passage of time will always bring changes, and consequently, the publisher cannot accept responsibility for errors that may occur. All prices and operating schedules quoted are based on information available to us at press time. Operating hours, maps, resort policies, future attractions, admission fees, and other costs may change, and we advise vacationers to call ahead and verify these facts and any others that are subject to change. What system requirements are needed for the e-books and e-worksheets? |
E-books can be opened and viewed on your computer using Adobe Reader, a free program most everyone already has (but if you don't have it, you can [url=http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html]download, install, and use it for free[/url] for Windows, MacOS, PalmOS, Pocket PC, Symbian OS and Linux). Some of our e-books and all of our e-worksheets are interactive, meaning you can input your personal data into a formatted page, save it, and print it -- these interactive features require Adobe 7.0, 8.0, or higher (available for Windows XP Professional or Home, Windows 2000 (service pack 2), Windows Vista, Windows NT (service pack 6 or higher), Mac OS 10.2.8 or higher ... see the [url=http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/acrrsystemreqs.html]full list of Adobe Reader versions and their system requirements here[/url]. Just a note of reassurance: Our readers have downloaded over 2000 e-books since we began doing e-books in 2005 and we haven't yet heard any issues with Adobe Reader that couldn't be resolved. |
What payment methods are available for my pass purchase? |
We accept PayPal payments for our Club Pass subscriptions. We feel PayPal is the best choice because of the reduced risk to you, its support for international accounts, and its ability to accept credit cards, eChecks (like personal checks), and instant transfers from your bank. If you are not yet a PayPal member, you can sign up free of charge at the time you place your Club Pass subscription order. Please Note: When you reach the PayPal order screen, read it carefully -- look for the Funding Options section and ensure you're using the funding option that works best for you. If you choose the eCheck option, you must allow 3-4 business days for your check to clear and to gain access to the PassPorter's Club; other funding sources will give you immediate access upon payment.
I don't have PayPal -- can I use my credit card?
The good news is that you can use your existing credit cards through PayPal, and it's easy to use PayPal even if you don't already have a PayPal account. Just follow the directions onscreen when you're ready to subscribe.
Isn't there some alternative to PayPal?
If you are unable or unwilling to use PayPal, it is possible to use your credit card to purchase a one-year pass which will not renew. This is a manual process and requires some extra steps. For details, please contact Sara Varney by PM or e-mail. |
How quickly will I get my Club Pass and enhanced access after payment? |
If you pay for your Club Pass subscription with PayPal funds or a credit card (via PayPal), your subscription goes into effect immediately after payment. If you pay for your Club Pass subscription with a PayPal eCheck, you must wait for the eCheck to clear (3-4 business days) before your subscription goes into effect. If you pay through an alternative method, you may need to wait up to 24 hours after we receive your payment before we can activate your pass. Please note that after your make your subscription payment via PayPal, you'll need to return to PassPorter.com and click the purple PassPorter's Club tab near the top of the screen to enter the Club itself. |
I have an Annual Club Pass -- can I commission more than one e-worksheet? |
At this time, each annual pass account is limited to one e-worksheet over the course of its lifetime. But as other Club passholders commission e-worksheets, we will add them to the Writing Room for you to download, so you may exactly what you need from our collection. If you really need additional e-worksheet(s), we may offer a way to purchase additional commissioned e-worksheets in the future -- let us know about your interest with a PM to Jennifer Marx. |
Can I share my Club Pass? |
Pass subscriptions are for individuals, and you may not share your login/password with others. You may, however, share copies of the downloaded files with other individuals residing in the same household as you, with the understanding that they will not share the files with others. You may share copies of your commissioned e-worksheet with members of your traveling party, which may include extended family members not residing in your household and/or friends. If there is a portion of an e-book or e-worksheet you really want/need to share with another member of your traveling party, please send a PM to Jennifer Marx for a determination. |
Will my Club Pass automatically renew? |
Yes, your Club Pass subscription will continue to renew automatically until you cancel it, we cancel it, or your PayPal account cancels it (i.e., lack of funds). You will receive an e-mail 2-3 days before your Club Pass subscription is due to renew as a friendly reminder. |
How do I cancel my Club Pass subscription? |
You may cancel your Club Pass subscription at any time by following these directions:
1. Go to this link and sign in with your PayPal e-mail and password: My PassPorter's Club Subscription at PayPal.com. This link looks up active subscriptions for PassPorter.com on PayPal.
(To look this up manually, go to http://www.paypal.com, sign in, click the History tab, choose Subscriptions from the Show menu, choose an appropriate time frame (such as Within the Past Year), and click Search.)
2. Locate the appropriate Subscription Creation transaction from the list and click the Details link next to it. You will be taken to a Transaction Details page.
3. Click Cancel Subscription and confirm your request. Cancelling your subscription will immediately stop all future scheduled payments for this subscription.

If I cancel my Club Pass subscription, can I still download updates to the e-books and e-worksheets?
No, you need to have an active Club Pass subscription to access any updated files.
If I cancel my Club Pass subscription, can I still use the 35% discount code in your store?
No, the 35% discount coupon code changes monthly, so you need an active Club Pass subscription to log in and get the current coupon code.
I cancelled my subscription, but I can still access the Club. Why?
Your Club Pass (and enhanced access) remains in effect for the duration of the time period for which you paid. On the day that your next subscription payment would have automatically gone through (your billing date), you will lose your access to the Club. For example, if you subscribed for one month and cancelled on the 15th day, you would have roughly 15 more days of access remaining until the access is removed. Your access remains until midnight Eastern Time on your billing date.
I cancelled my subscription, but the money I already paid wasn't refunded. Why?
Cancelling a subscription only cancels future payments, not any payments already made. We cannot issue refunds for the remaining portion of your monthly/yearly payment when you cancel. This is due to the nature of our e-books and e-worksheets; similarly, we do not offer refunds on the purchase of e-books through our store. We are not unreasonable, however -- if you feel you have extenuating circumstances, please contact us with the particulars. |
