(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)
This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.
I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.
I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going!

Entertainment Value
Posted 01-09-2010 at 10:12 PM by Sandra Bostwick
Walt Disney pretty much dedicated his life to entertainment. To some, that might be trifling, but I've always thought that was a great mission.
Today was just another day that supported that belief.
Today I went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 with Baby Karl's two brothers and sister and his Grandma. Before I go on about the entertainment value, let me tell you, it really does take two adults to take a four-year-old, a six-year-old and an eight-year-old to the movies. From the coats, scarves, and hats to the movie treats, it is a real thrill-a-minute.
But, I digress! This movie was pretty much just entertainment. No real lesson to be learned. No deep plot. BUT, what fun it was to watch these kids be entertained.
They bopped and danced in their seats. They laughed and cheered. Their Grandma and I had more fun watching the kids than the movie.
This was not a Disney movie, but that is what is on my mind, I had a blog to finish, and here it is!

Thanks for adding that everyone! Great thoughts!
A friend was driving to my house this morning, and she had to call for directions because she was having so much fun laughing at a radio program that she missed the exit. I thought...WOW! What a great way to be on a Saturday morning! So entertained that you forgot where you were for a moment!0 Pixie Dust

When I'm in the classroom on a Fridays try to get the home work check in, I sometime look up and start watching the kids enter react with each other . I for get what I was doing then when someone need help I stop the work I've been doing until they go to PE I'm like where the time go I could had all that done before that so I could make the kids have all the homework done for the main teacher. Yes It take children to entertain me. lol0 Pixie Dust
