(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)
This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.
I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.
I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going!

Don't worry about a thing, 'cause every little things gonna be all right!

Today I feel like the Bob Marley song, Three Little Birds:
Don't worry about a thing, 'cause every little thing gonna be all right!
Did you ever get that wierd feeling, deep in your soul, that life is going to go well, even if it does not go easy?
I can remember, years ago, when waves of dread or worry used to sweep over me like they had a mind of their own. Now, these waves of peace and gratitude sweep over me.
I have a case of Transient Free Floating Bliss! It isn't all the time, but, in general, I've come to recognize that controlling my life and micromanaging the details of my world has brought me nothing by trouble.
Have you ever just "let go" of controlling? When is that a good thing, and when is it unwise?

I have a penchant for wanting to control things around me. When I was younger I was much more "passionate" about it and I stayed in trouble. Over the last few years, after a troubling time in my life, I was able to let go of a myriad of things and boy was it freeing. It's a good thing when you are the one driving and it is up to you to control the transportation to get you there. When someone else is driving and you are along for the ride it is dangerous to grab the wheel and take over. Two people can't drive from the driver's seat at one time. Well, and live to tell about it that is.0 Pixie Dust

I know we're not supposed to discuss religion on the site, but that would be my answer to your post, for my life.
Having said that, I still have control issues! I tend to rely too much on the routines I have set for myself, and then I get upset when something unexpected happens. Gets me all bent out of shape. I try to be flexible but I don't like too many curveballs being thrown at me.
The main problem I have with control is when I'm planning a WDW trip - everybody better get out of my way then!0 Pixie Dust

Yes, there are guidelines about discussing religion and politics on the boards and I do see why that is.
But, since you mentioned it, if I am honest, I'd have to say that God gives me my courage. Maybe just for this blog entry we can say that!
I now return you to your previously scheduled guidelines!0 Pixie Dust
