(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)
This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.
I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.
I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going!

The value of knowing that someone is watching your goals.
I'm one of those very blessed people who has some truly caring friends. I'm also one of those people who is pretty good at finding resource people or communities for my interests, which is one of the reasons I ended up here at PassPorter.
I have several groups of people for different interests, activities, or just friendship and, for that, I am just so grateful.
But, I have one goal in particular that has not been going well AT ALL! Like Scott posted today about his goal, there is very little progress in this one area. Very little focus, Very little commitment.
I don't think the specific goal is important, but what is important is how helpful it is to know that someone is checkin in. Especially when the checking in involves a cheery message.
I am trying to write a blog that will inspire or cheer others because I know that is the best way to energize myself. The truth is, I AM A TAKER, not a giver!
Seriously, though, there are times when we need to give and there are times when we need to take.
The strange thing about it, though, is that all of it seems to happen at the same time.
So, today, when I needed a boost to motivate me with my gaol, I found it in the cheery greetings of some people who are traveling the same road.
And now I am going to turn that around to whoever reads this.
Whatever it is that you hope to do. Don't give up! You can do it!

Sorry for the following "rambling"...This can also turn into a Blessing(s) for someone else..... we all know that sometimes a kind word, a kind "push" or even a "reality" push - can take someone on a journey (big or small) that is sprinkled with many other obstacles, revelations, treasures or Blessings....and that we are all connected in some way... I am a giver... I don't "take" and there have been times where's it's come back to bite my tush... whether I thought I wasn't "worthy" enough or whatever I was thinking....I am learning that giving and taking is sort of like "ying and yang"... you taking can be someone else's Blessing....and it's funny how how some of us say when we see someone else's good fortune that "I wish that I was that lucky",when we were all along and missed our "chance" because we were too proud to take.... and it's so funny how it is so much easier said than done, but I am learning.... because I too, am Blessed....0 Pixie Dust

I bought a piece of pizza yesterday. But not for me it was for a homeless woman who obviously has been dealt a bad hand in the card game of life. She was outside a pizza place and usually I would just walk on by. But my wife had just bought me a nice lunch so I thought I better return the favor to somebody. I offered to buy this stranger a piece of pizza. And she just lit up!!! She looked so happy like she really did want exactly that(And not just beer money). I bought her a piece of Ham Pizza with pineapples. And she was so happy. It does feel good to do for others sometimes!!! I am not saying I am Mother Theresa, but the moment did feel good.0 Pixie Dust

Ok got the logo on the Paradise Point page. I'm going to have a friend do some hotels while she on vacation so I made up instruction for her to know how to do a review, made copy of the report forum for I have and printed up some business cards as well. I added the instruction to my site in my Community forum page and will figure out away to get the file of the report form on there.
If anyone would like to help let me know I can sens some business cards or if you have a program called Print Workshop I can send the business card file through email.
Oh by the way I got a new camera that have wide angle shots built into it so I can take better pictures. It's a Canon digital 52.0.0 Pixie Dust

Todd, do you think that having other people watch you move forward with your goal has helped you keep up with it? I REALLY have to admit that the whole two people who sign in daily to see if I blogged were a big motivator for me to make an entry, especially on the day when I was very tired and uninspired.0 Pixie Dust
