Howdy
:Welcome: to my Passport blog, my 'happy' place!
I have a few blogs on the go at the moment: somewhere I vent for our childrens special needs and the day to day fight that it consists of ; my photography blog, where I like to post daily photos of things I've seen or done ;and then there is my classroom journal where I write every two to three weeks about my studies and progress while volunteering at our local village infant school (I hope to eventually become a teacher) .
This blog however, is my happy place where I like to check forums, read bits and pieces and generally smile and feel warm inside whilst typing on my blog or in reply to others
So far my blogging has been intermittent with everything thats going on in my life but please feel free to give me a nudge if I've neglected you, my reader, for far too long. It's okay, I won't hold it against you if you do promise!
Thanks for stopping by.

Character Dining is a Negative
Yowdy howdy to my regulars actually I'm not sure I've blogged frequently enough to build any but 'shooot' that's okay (yes, our Friday night pizza and film was Cars 2 - I love Mater, who doesn't
Anyhow, every year that we've visited WDW with the kids, we've booked a character breakfast. On the first visit we were supposed to fly when the Hurricane hit, so went two days late and spent just over a week with empty parks, which for our first visit was greeeeat. We hadn't booked in advance for the character dining and strolled into the Norway breakfast with the princesses
On other visits we booked 180 days in advance. So far we've been to Cinderellas Royal Table, Crystal Palace, Hollywood & Vine, Akershus Royal Banquit Hall, And Tusker House Resturant. Of the main parks that just leaves the Garden Grill Resturant which I'd love to try, although looking at the menus, there isn't much of a selection.
We've discussed our dining plans for this years visit and we decided that as we can't guarantee how DS will cope in the echoing restaurants, waiting for the characters to get to the table (although, sure he'd be fine now he's a little older) and getting up on time, it will be best not to book a breakfast this year. I have mixed feelings about this decision, I really love character dining and might change my mind but for now, character dining is negative.
What about you, do you like character dining? Do you have child's with
Special Needs, how do they/you cope?
