(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)
This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.
I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.
I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going!

4 days to GOal: Branching out with goals and dreams.
Housekeeping reminder: PLEASE put your ending comments here on the blog unless they are of a personal nature. I LOVE private messages, but they can't be shared with others!
These blogs will remain here and there is opportunity to read some of the older blogs and continue with comments. PLEASE comment here, not in a private message to me, though. My email tells me when there is a new comment on the blog, so I won't miss what you have to say!
Now...on with the blog!
There have been mentions of not having goals finished, not knowing where to work on goals when this is done, or not having enough time to finish before the blog ends.
While we've tried to come up with goals that could be completed by the end of the blog time, some goals go on for years and years. Some morph into something completely different.
You can, as PamelaK did, start your own blog to keep the blog-zone going. You can revisit old blog entries and bring them back to life by adding a comment. You can continue with the momentum on your own OR (this is my favorite!) see if you can't branch out and inspire a few others to do something new and exciting.
There is plenty of space and plenty of time!
I love One Man's dream in Hollywood Studios where Walt says that his parks will never stop growing. He sounds tickled when he says that even the trees will continue to grow and make the parks more beautiful.
I'd like to think that, in some small way, our work here is like Walt's trees. And since a picture is worth a thousand words, here are just a few examples of Walt's trees.
Can you find your own way to branch out and inspire others?
And that is my blog entry for today!

I have reached out....some of it was positive and some of it...pfft (raspberry sound). Here's the thing, I am so exhausted most of the time b/c, in my life, I have to give it all away. You know what I mean? Really bad morning with Perry today and I'm wiped out. So, some days I have the energy to reach out and some days I don't. When I do and I get negative feedback...well, it's not really inspirational.0 Pixie Dust

Great work, Aaron!
Christine, I hope Perry settles down for everyone's sake. Remember that, some days it is just not as easy to reach out with light and energy! You can't really force it when you don't have it, or you are almost being fake.
That is something I learned from blogging every day.
Some days I was just plain exhausted or overwhelmed. Maybe I waited until late at night to make my entry, and I was just doing it because I had to.
Those entries were very difficult for me, and I learned a great deal about how my spirit batteries can get too low to power up my creativity.
I don't think I knew that about myself until this project.
Maybe your spirit battery just needs a rest while you sit plugged in for a while!0 Pixie Dust

You know working with kids you don't think your reaching out but when I turn around I always get that big hug then I realize I am making a different in these kids lives. Also I've get students who are in high school now who I worked with either in first or second grade comeback and reach out to me. So, from 1st grade to high school I have lots of long branches soon; it may be longer. Same with my web site I believe it will grow into a strong tree for accessible traveling.0 Pixie Dust
