(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)
This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.
I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.
I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going!

14 days to GOal: I should be on my last sleep before I fly to Florida
I've spent the night trying to deal with technical difficulties downloading my handouts to the conference site, managing packing, and dealing with the various other issues.
Oh, yes, and I need to pack for 8 days away from home.
My goal, though, was to stay in the moment.
I think that just having that goal has helped me to focus, appreciate, and celebrate.
There was a moment when I took out my PassPorter and started placing all my confirmation printouts into the pockets. I looked at my 2009 packing list from my 2009 PassPorter and thought "OK, this is easy."
But here is my main point.
I can remember as far back as childhood...a trip to the place that Walt created has been my reward. I'm a hard worker, I'd like to think, and I've managed to finish a few projects along the way.
There is something about a trip to Disney, though, that feels like a target, And that target is good.
Tonight, while I've wrestled with technology and wondered why I can't just be satisfied with the status quo, my thoughts turn toward the man who made recreation and leisure a goal.
I wonder why I am so Disney obsessed? I think it is because every goal oriented person needs to have a laughing place.
I go to God when I need a reality check. I go to my accountant when I need a dollar check. Maybe I go to any one of my room-full-of-books for an information check.
But when I need to just plain relax and enjoy, I look to Walt's creations.
Everyone needs a laughing place. After I finish with my conference, I'll be visiting mine!
So for today, as I finish my last day of work and get ready to board the plane, I want to spend some time appreciating Walt Disney and HIS dreams and goals,
My goal for today is to appreciate.
And that is my blog entry for today.

yeah going around the world by going to one place to another, going from the past to the future and going from reality to fantasy with out even leaving Disney World, That is DISNEY. That what I appreciate what Walt did at least what he had in mind for Disneyland but I'm glad he went to plan a better and bigger place. I also appreciate his brother stepping forward to take on a big project.0 Pixie Dust
