(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)
This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.
I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.
I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going!

All you've got to do is own up to your ignorance honestly, and you'll find people who are eager to fill your head with information.
Walt Disney
I like the idea of being honest about the things you don't know. It is the best way to get help from others who might know more!
I like to take that a bit further, though, and say that I like to admit when I can't do something by myself. One way or another, I always seem to find people who are eager to help out.
Today, as I reflect on this blog goal, I am filled with gratitude for all the people who, in so many ways, helped me to keep going.
I was looking back on the link to Click_Here_To_See_Finished_Goals_Or_Projects
and I really felt a sense of gratitude to the people who were a part of this journey, even if it was just a short time.
I am also so thankful to the people who posted comments. That was so helpful to me.
Because my goal was to work with a group of people, I had to own up to the fact that I needed some people.
And the strange thing about this particular project was that most of the participants were COMPLETE strangers to me before the blog. I mean, not even members who I'd gotten to know in other sections of the boards.
Certainly not many people , but just enough people.
I see how, whenever I need something, if I just keep at it, the right people show up! You just have to own up to it.
So, today I am spending my time in appreciation of all the people who, in real-time or online, have given of themselves to help me out in various ways. I wish we could have a virtual party when this is all done!

Well, something rather miraculous happened this year when I met my new family therapist Dawna and her sister, Maria, who is our spectacular educational advocate. They have helped me immensely with the task of getting Perry out of his school. I've tried to do this for years by myself and could not so I am extremely grateful for them.
I'm glad I found this blog, Sandy. Wish I had found it sooner.0 Pixie Dust
