(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)
This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.
I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.
I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going!

My friend and I are working on a weekly goal follow-up project. We set our goals in writing and have a Friday check-in call to see how things are going.
We both agree that this is very helpful, BUT it is a bit of pressure. I can see why people are hesitant to actually set a goal and then, even more hesitant to tell someone else.
I think, though, there is as much to be learned from discussing the goals that have fallen short as there is from forcing yourself to move forward.
Maybe you are trying to do too much. Maybe you are setting goals that are really someone else's priority. Or maybe there is some sort of block in the road that will have to be cleared.
Can you take just a moment to reflect on the goals that you've set for the blog OR just general goals you may have.
What is getting in the way?

For me the web site is a good goal to help others but I won't let it run my life. Same with being at the school. You goto take care of your self, that should be the most priority. Also you got to set which is the most important in your life and work around it as long it doesn't hurt you or others.0 Pixie Dust

I believe I have great expectations and sometimes, it just takes a little longer to get to completion, because life happens. You know like funds are needed elsewhere, circumstances change, etc... The key is I try not to look at not getting the goal accomplished as a failure, My den is still there, just waiting for me to work on it. It is liveable right now, and I will get the job done, just a little later than originally planned.0 Pixie Dust

Jamie, I think everything great starts with great expectations. Just not all great expectations turn out great.
Please keep coming back, even if your den is not finished. Some people have told me they will come back when they have time to work on a goal, but I think just getting through the day well is a goal that needs to be attended to on a daily basis!0 Pixie Dust
