(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)
This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.
I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.
I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going!

Why blog?

I am 1/10th of the way into the goal of blogging every day for a school year about goals or projects. Since this is the first time I've tried this, I have no idea how it will go. I feel relieved that, at least, it is 1/10th over now! Bloggin is a new concept for me, and I'm not sure I fully understand it.
Some days, this blog seems to set my mind on a certain way of thinking, which gives the day a "tone". Making a conscious decision to set a positive tone for the day seems to be helpful when I need to keep my momentum going.
I'm not sure I need to blog for that, though. That can be done by meditating or writing in a personal journal.
The best part of a blog, I think, is the interaction. I especially enjoy when people respond and it feels like we are moving forward together.
So, the jury is still out on blogging, and here is my entry for today.
What do you think about blogging? Do you think you ever might try to write your own?

I really enjoy reading about what other people think, what they are doing, etc.... It also helps if it is interesting or has parts of things I find interesting. I also enjoy reading the comments of others, that broadens the original thoughts to a different level which usually benefits the originator and everyone who reads it all. Thanks for your efforts. I'm glad you're here.
I'm not sure I'd be good at my own. I delete more than I post. I doubt my thoughts and chicken out and delete bunches. It would be time to start the next blog before I'd finish the first one0 Pixie Dust

I know about the narrow audience. It is hard to know what people want to read. I've never been a scout, but I always enjoy your blogs.
I also enjoy other people's comments AND it motivates me to keep blogging.
I've committed to a school year of blogging each day to really see what it is like, but it seems like the message board format is the most interactive and useful at the moment.
Blogging seems like a great forum for people who have big groups of people interested in them or who have cutting edge information to share about popular topics.
Otherwise it is just as you said, a written record that others can peek in on from time to time.
Who knows where it will go?0 Pixie Dust
