(This is Main Street by Angie, who is working on art goals here on the blog!)
This has been a personal project to blog every day for a school year on goals and dreams. My hope was that I could find a group of people to work with me.
I was lucky enough to find a small, but sincere group of inspirational people to keep me company. We've been using Walt Disney's philosophies or creations as inspiration.
I am no longer blogging daily, but I am notified if comments are posted, and I'll be happy to keep the discussion going!

LIVE FROM KEY LARGO!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S TUESDAY NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's my virtual trip blog, as if anyone cares. I'm taking a gazillion photos to post when I get back.
First off, my main airport has always been Orlando, for obvious reasons. Well, Miami Airport was nice enough, but I can see why they call it MIA-because people who can direct you to where you want to go are Missing in Action! While the people who work there are certainly nice enough once you can find them for info, they really don't have a handle on how to help people find where they need to go.
I needed the public bus terminal but the signs and the folks did not help to get there. Some of them were so accommodating that they walked me to elevators and gave extensive directions, but it's a good thing I had an hour and a half to catch the shuttle! So, as far as airports go, Orlando, you win the pixie dust award! The minute I land, I feel something magical. Does your magic also start at the airport in Orlando?
I took keys shuttle to my hotel. The van was a nice, clean ten passenger van with only three people in it. The price, I think, was around $100 for a round trip. The ride to Key Largo took about 75 minutes with one rest break. It was relaxing and, though it was moslty highway, there were some nice sights.
Now, Let me introduce you to Dove Creek Lodge. (I'll post photos when I am home.)
This is a small 14 room resort...more like a large bed and breakfast. I chose it because it was near where I'll be visiting AND it got rave reviews online as a place that made you feel like you were visiting family. Since this is a solo trip, and I want some peace and quiet, that sounded nice. I have to say, also, the price was VERY RIGHT IMHO!!! They are having a stay 3 night get the 4th free deal also.
I was checked in by Jennifer, who is just as perky in real life as she is on the phone. She handed me a bunch of menus for food delivery-Chinese and pizza, mainly. I am next to what I've read is one of the best seafood places on the keys.
When I checked in, she showed me the lodge wedding album. If the wedding party books all the hotel's 14 rooms, they get exclusive use of the pool for the reception. Each wedding had decor that looked different from the one before. One had floating flower arrangements! The photos are just beautiful! I LOVE to see brides. It's a day to be princess!
I was lucky that no one needed the handicapped room during my stay so I got it. This room must have one of the best views in the whole place. STUNNING!!!! I've got a beautiful balcony overlooking a marina with a handful of boats. The marina opens up into water as far as the eye can see. No cruise ship balcomy could boast a better view of the ocean.
To the left is Snapper's Seafood dining, to the right is a little island with hammocks (looks like Carribbean Beach Resort) and in front of me is the braggin board for the fishing trips.
BEAUTIFUL! JUST BEAUTIFUL!
An owl lives somewhere near-by and I can hear him who-whoing. It is such a nice sound!
The shadows are starting to grow long, so I'm off to take a walk.
So far, solo trip Blog for Key Largo is a perfect 10.

Yes it is a free photo site. You can upload your photos and then link to them. It is a password-protected account, but you can allow people access if you'd like. Of course they will also sell you your photos, along with several other photo products. Last summer we ordered a photobook with a combination of lots of our WDW pics as well as lots of the PhotoPass CD pics that we had uploaded. shutterfly.com0 Pixie Dust
