Walt Disney World Tip #23421 - Pack Party Favors

There is a lot of waiting at Disney World. We are always looking for ways to keep our children entertained during these waits. Before one of our prior trips, I made a visit to our local party supply chain store. They have a huge section of small toys and things for goody bags. Most items can be purchaed by the piece, so you can only buy one or two of each thing rather than having to purchase an entire package, and they are very inexpensive - 10 to 20 cents per item. Our store often has Disney licensed items as well. We bought small puzzle games, small toys like cars or plastic airplanes, small notepads and mini-pens, slinkies, etc and kept a few in our bag each day to break out when the kids got bored. One evening my husband and I were trying to enjoy the Osborne Lights at Hollywood Studios and the kids were getting restless. We handed a mini bottle of bubbles to each (6 and 7 years old at the time) and they happily blew bubbles, tried to catch the bubbles, and danced around in them. It kept the kids, and some fellow guests, entertained for quite a while and barely cost us anything. It was great!
