    General Travel Tip #2328 - Whistle While You Work


    At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
    Since my children were little I have "trained" them to stop and look for me when I do a specific whistle. Yes, some people say "your treating them like a dog" but it works, and has turned a moment of panic into relief in a hurry. It does not even have to be a whistle, any unique loud noise works. My kids are young adults and I still use it - of course they hate it now - but it still works. Better safe than sorry!
