Disneyland Resort/Southern California Tip #1159 - Record It

I just read the tip from last week's issue about taking a journal and writing about events and thoughts every evening of your vacation, but I started using a handheld tape recorder on our vacations instead. With a tape recorder, even if you are tired and may not feel like writing down all of your daily remembrances, it seems very easy to just press the record button on a tape recorder and recall all of the fun from the day. We even have the kids record their memories of the day which has turned out to be alot of fun since they can remember lots of things the parents may not recall or were even a part of during the day. You also can get a great feeling of the emotions based on the how the voices sound on the tape (excitement, humor, etc). Then when we get home, we can transfer the memories from the tape by writing them down to a word document. But again we also have the extra benefit of hearing the different memories in addition to writing them down.
