    You Discovered a PassPorter Tip!

Walt Disney World Tip #1880 - Like A Kid Again

At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
For my 40th birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary my husband and I went to Disney World for the first time without the kids. At first he seemed a little reluctant to get all the pictures with the characters like we did when we were with the kids, but I kept grabbing his arm for every opportunity I could. I kinda felt guilty thinking I was forcing him to act like a kid again with me, even though he didn't want to. On our third day there I went to look at pins and left him standing alone. When I returned I had to search for him. The next thing I know I hear him calling me and waving me over with a huge grin on his face....there he was getting his picture taken with Quincy and June from Little Einsteins. Later that day he ran off in front of me to stand in line and pose with a power ranger. Those two pictures are some of my favorites that we have and our 5 year-old son thought his Dad was "totally cool" when I emailed the pictures to him that night. We stayed 10 nights there and from that day forward he was the one tracking down all our favorite characters to get our pictures with, and even had us do the Kim Possible mission at Epcot together. He really made our trip so fun. We had the best vacation and are going back this year for his 40th birthday....where I know my tired, overworked husband will get to be a kid again, at least for those 10 wonderful days!
