    General Travel Tip #2283 - Camera Shots Note Cards

    As a photo enthusiast I am always trying to improve in using my dSLR for taking different kinds of shots such as fireworks, indoor scenes or lightning so I created my own very simple camera notecards on 3 x 5 index cards (could also be transferred from the computer to smartphones as well). Each card contains the Camera Mode (e.g. Manual), ISO, White Balance setting, Shutter Speed, Aperture and Other Notes. After printing the small sheet I laminate it to the index card, and hole punch the cards so that I can carry them on a small notebook ring and attach a very small flashlight for use in dark locations. The ring snaps easily to my camera bag and I can run through the items before taking shots rather than hunting through a manual.
