    General Travel Tip #2116 - Bento Boxes for Travel


    At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
    Find bento boxes that have snap on or tight lids and use these to 1) make travel meals - especially for air travel now that airlines have cut back or charge for meals. This way you can have a meal to your taste literally. 2) Pack it up with foods that travel well and, if flying, pass TSA restrictions - no liquids. Think about semi-freezing items if you are traveling a long distance and want to save the meal for later during the trip. The bento boxes will also come in handy during your trip to make meals/snacks that you can take with you to the parks. They can also be used to pack small and/or breakable items that you find during your trip to safely transport home.
