    Disneyland Resort/Southern California Tip #24174 - Disneyland Down Time

    Don't forget to plan for some down time on your vacation - whilst Disneyland is significantly smaller than Walt Disney World, there is still an awful lot of walking involved! We stayed at a fabulous hotel just over the road from the parks, but that driveway to the parks and Downtown is still a very long walk, particularly at the end of the day! We were in California for a week and had one day off planned in the middle of the vacation, but we spent it at Downtown Disney, so were totally exhausted at the end of the week. Note to self : next time, have a day by the pool or even in bed!
