    Walt Disney World Tip #23267 - Education Activities - Disney Style!

    Unsure if pulling your kids out of school to go to Walt Disney World is a good idea? Don't be worried! There are plenty of opportunities in the World for your children to learn as much, if not more than if they were in the classroom. While some school systems won't allow teachers to pre-assign work, most will let you know what they will be covering while your child is out and will help you incorporate the lessons into your vacation. For example, my 5 year old was learning about shapes and her teacher asked her to identify where she saw different shapes in the Parks. Likewise, my 7 year old was learning how to write paragraphs so he was asked to keep a journal. For fun, he even went to every country in World Showcase and bought candy that was representative of every culture to share with his class!
