    Walt Disney World Tip #24528 - Pick Up A Parasol for Protection


    At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
    Use an umbrella when you're at the parks for portable shade! If you want something a little fancier than a rain umbrella, stop at the China or Japan pavilion at Epcot and pick up a rice paper parasol. The ones at the China pavilion are actually made from a nylon material so they're more durable. And they are available in different sizes so you can get a smaller one for younger children. Not only does it keep you cooler but it decreases your exposure to UV rays! We bought one for our daughter last time we were there and she loved to use it--much easier than trying to get her to wear a hat. Plus it makes a nice souvenir.
