Walt Disney World Tip #2151 - Disney is a Learning Experience

When touring Walt Disney World with your children and you feel guilty about taking them out of school, think about the many learning opportunities that Disney has to offer. For example the many countries and the things that are in them. When talking about Africa in our class last week I brought up the Kilimajaro Safari. The children were trying to remember the name of the largest mountain in Africa and when they thought of the ride they remembered it so easily. They also remembered some of the animals that they saw on this ride and connected them to Africa as well. There are many other things that help students learn as well. Make sure you get them a copy of their own map and tell them about the names of the rides and their correlation with where they are in the park. Disney is truly a learning experience!
