    You Discovered a PassPorter Tip!

General Travel Tip #24814 - I-75 Mile Marker Road Trip Treats

At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
When driving to Disney, I like to make an I-75 treat bag. Using Dave Hunter's book "Along 75", I wrap treats to correspond with various mile markers. For example: Mile 86 - Sedimentary Rock - Rock Candy Mile 56 - Daniel Boone National Forest - cinnamon gummy bears (if after dark, shadow animal guide and a flashlight) A bag of state treats, fills in the lulls between mile markers if necessary. Whatever we don't use on the trip to Disney, we use for the return trip. The Kentucky state bag may include - toy plastic horses, matchbox corvette, post it notes, etc. I also print a list of fun facts. These treats help the miles move along quickly and keep little ones, or adults, content during the drive.
