    You Discovered a PassPorter Tip!

Walt Disney World Tip #24799 - Do Your Park Prep The Night Prior

At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
While on your trip to the World, prepare as much as you can each night before bed so that you have a jump-start on getting ready to go to the parks in the morning. My husband and I always used to plan to leave plenty early to get to rope-drop each morning, but so many times, things just took longer than expected while getting ready. It can take a lot of preparation to get ready for the day, especially when you plan to be in the parks from open-close, not returning to the hotel for a break. Now, anything I can do at night to prepare for the next day, I do, and we were ready for rope-drop every day of our last trip, even on Extra Magic Mornings. One big example of nightly prep was getting the mole skin that I apply to my feet pre-cut each night. After walking all day, I would develop hot spots that, left untreated, can turn into blisters. Each night, I would review the day's damage and pre-cut the pieces to the shapes and sizes I would need to apply in the morning. This saved a LOT of time. The second thing that really helped was pre-planning the wardrobe of myself and my husband. Though we typically don't do shirts that match exactly, we do coordinate shirts, for example, I wear Minnie, and he wears Mickey. I found this makes for really great PhotoPass pictures. My husband also loved that he didn't have to figure out what to wear every day. It's amazing how doing even small things at night can really add up to saving valuable time in the mornings, getting you into the parks as early as possible...if that's how you roll.
