    You Discovered a PassPorter Tip!

General Travel Tip #2201 - Save Parental Sanity

At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
When gearing up for travel with the little (or not so little) ones is always a challenge. Entertainment being the number one priority to save your own sanity. Bring toys/games that do not have a million little pieces (this means no legos and no littlest pet shop animals!), toys that can multifunction such as a leapster or video game can prove life savers. When all else fails and you find yourself staring right in the face of an outbreak of tears from your child, time to pull out the big guns. The carry on bag you've packed with small things/new toys to surprise your little one and extend your own (and your travel companions) sanity! Coloring books with magic or invisible ink markers are fantastic and have no chance of staining clothes, the car/airplane seats etc. For girls: a new barbie doll (already opened and all tiny items (shoes, etc) removed.) For boys: a new transformer (without detachable pieces) or dinosaur, train etc. All ready opened and ready to go. The last thing you want to be doing is fiddling with all the plastic and cardboard. Don't forget to save some little new items for the trip home too!
