General Travel Tip #24743 - More Laundry, Less Luggage

When traveling with small children, most parents will find that their children have 2-3 favorite shirts (alas sometimes it's just one) that they would choose to wear every day! To make life simpler if you are not opposed to these favorites just bring less and wash what they want to wear, those things that are "dri fit" can easily be washed out in a sink, wrapped in a towel to remove excess water and hung to dry. They will dry fairly quickly if you get the excess water out! A quick fix to a small spot is a dab of foaming hand soap directly on the spot scrubbed in with a wash rag and then rinsed with a clean rag makes sure to get all soap residue off though because sometimes if left too long it will fade the spot! Similarly if you are cruising or just like to dress nice for dinner try bringing only a couple bottoms and the needed number of shirts if you don't want to launder them. I say extra shirts because most moms know the bottoms can probably be re-worn but the shirt will most likely bear the remains of dinner.
