Disney Cruise Line Tip #1045 - Cruising the Corridors

What began as a simple curiosity to explore the ship has now become a Disney cruise tradition for me and my husband. When we first walked around and saw how many cruisers had decorated their doors, we were inspired! We now not only decorate our stateroom door, but we make touring all the floors with staterooms part of our cruising itinerary. We find it's best to do in the evening, when most others are at the shows. It's fun to see how creative cruisers get, and it's a nice, quiet, relaxing break from the daily flurry of activities! This past cruise, we thought we'd spice up our tradition a little, so we brought some extra Mickey magnets we'd made (out of the Mickey-head paint chips from Home Depot and adhesive magnet strips) and during our walking tour, put them on fellow cruisers' doors along with homemade inkjet magnets with a picture of Tinker Bell and the phrase, "You've been Pixie Dusted!" It's exciting to hear fellow cruisers as they walk by and comment on your stateroom door, but it's even more fun to spread around some of that extra-special Disney magic!
