    Walt Disney World Tip #1855 - Stay on Budget and Weight

    Many of us worry about two things while on vacation - staying on budget and not gaining too much weight. May I suggest something we do all the time on vacation. We eat mainly appetizers, which are usually smaller than a meal and cheaper than a meal. YOU CAN MAKE A MEAL OUT OF APPETIZERS! Everyone I know comments about how much food you get at Disney and they also complain about the weight they gained. I tell them that we save money by ordering a couple appetizers and splitting them among ourselves so we aren't rolling out of the restaurant and our wallet is still in check. We also only drink water at the restaurants because soda doesn't keep you hydrated when you are walking through the parks and running between rides. Occasionally I will bring a Propel or other energy drink packets to flavor my water without changing the color of the water.
