    Disneyland Resort/Southern California Tip #2470 - Making Magical Memories

    My husband and I took our six year old to Disneyland for a week. We did things together as a family, but also took our son out separately. This gave us special time with him to do things that made individual memories for each of us. When we got back together we had the fun of sharing what we had just done (didn't have wait to return home to tell someone about our vacation). We now do that in some way on most of our vacations. Talking about our trip to each other also cemented the activities into our son's memory. When he would tell people back home about our trip, it was what my dad and I did this or this is what my mom and I saw. The magic moments don't get any better than when our little boy said "This is my happy place" as he walked out of California Adventure to go home after our third day.
