    General Travel Tip #2771 - Create Closet Space

    I find the closet space so small whenever we travel(both in hotels and especially on a cruise), and with our family, there are usually not enough drawers either. I now take along an 'accordian' style hanging storage shelf. I pack it at the bottom of my suitcase (because it folds up very nicely)and hang it up first thing when unpacking. It provides at least 5 extra compartments and only takes up only about 8 inches of the closet. It has two hooks at the top that hang right on the closet rod. The small amount of closet room it takes up still allows me to hang my other items in the closet. When I get home, I keep it in my suitcase for next time.
