    Walt Disney World Tip #1818 - Use Snack Credits for Breakfast

    Our first experience with the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) was back in August 2007 at Caribbean Beach Resort (CBR). The DDP is a lot of food, what with desserts coming with lunch and dinner we hardly used any snack credits, and on departure day we had a lot of snack credits left. We went to the Grab & Go at Caribbean Beach Resort to buy stuff with our remaining dining plan credits, loading up on things we could pack to take home, such as Mickey Rice Crispy Pops, etc. When we went through check out, the cast member told us we could have used our snack credits on breakfast! This was the best tip I ever got! Muffins, bagels, milk, cereal, side of eggs, bacon, sausage -- all snack credits!! Wow! So instead of stocking our room with boxes of cereal and milk, muffins, etc., we could have been using our snack credits for breakfast. We have been using our snack credits for breakfast ever since, and just pay out of pocket for the occasional Dole Whip or Mickey Bar.
