    Disneyland Resort/Southern California Tip #1568 - Pick a Parade Spot

    When we were at Disneyland we got a copy of the park map and studied the parade route and direction. If you follow the route and look on the ground off to the right or left you will see small round metal discs in the ground. This is where the poles with the ropes go when they rope off the parade. My mom and I found an area we wanted to watch the parade. We then got something to eat and found a place where we could sit and eat close to one of theses discs. When the cast members came out with the ropes and set them up in front of us, we moved forward and claimed our spot right by the rope. In some sections there are no ropes... they just tape off the ground where you must sit behind. It works the same. As soon as they tape the ground, claim your spot.
